If they really wanted widebodies in 2015 then the orders better be placed today, especially with the backlog of 787/A350s

More likely they dont really intend to have widebodies in the next few years, but want to keep the dream alive for those hanging on tight.

We'll have wide bodies in afew years... they just won't say jetBlue on the side, and we (jetBlue pilots) won't be flying them.

With respect, Beach is correct. IF they don't add more furloughs to the current list during the bankruptcy plan and your number is higher than about 1000, you will be looking for work....

Maybe, maybe not. There aren't going to be any furloughs added. They are really short staffed now.

I know, it's the end of the world, blah blah blah. In the meantime, we need a union. If we can just get on the damn seniority list, retirements alone will make the furlough only last a year or two at most. I'll take that for a spot on the seniority list of one of the oldest pilot groups in the industry.
