I KNOW they are not, which is why I voted for ALPA. I hate them too, but they are the lesser of two evils.

Go read a bit of history and see how well the startup inhouse unions did at FedEx and AirTran. That alone tells you why an inhouse startup is a bad idea. SWAPA worked because their management was not hostile. Ours is. The first CBA is going to be a slugfest. After that, I'm much more open to an inhouse. But right now, it's a terrible idea.

Absolutely. Let's get the big boys to help us with our first contract. If we feel the need to re-evaluate at that time, we can. Thanks for voting with logic and not emotion. I wish some others would do the same.
