There will be 165 Capatin and 165 F/O slots in Atlanta when SLC closes. There will be 100 Captain and 100 F/O slots same time next year in atlanta. 130 jobs are going bye bye and probably some people too. All because the ALPAites think that the CRJ 200 and 700 are 2 different types of airplanes when they are almost identical.

Also all newhire classes have been canceled from what i've heard. They might have one or 2 in august if there is attrition which would be great since some of the 700 captains have been here WAY past their time.
Funny, I don't read anything about furloughs. you are once again trying to create an issue where there isn't one. The notice only states that 65 CPT and 65 FO positions will not be in ATL, that doesn't mean they will not be somewhere else. Don't jump to the doomsday scenario until you have the FACTS. not just "what you've heard".

Oh sure you know "many other people" you jerk. CT's asinine letter this week had the oposite effect he thought it would. It has convinced many to vote yes for the strike vote. Those 900s will go where they go, regardless of negotiations. That's a managment call, if you can call them that. Since G&J left, all ASA management has been are bodies that carry out Delta's orders, and now to a degree Skywest's orders. They'll lose their little jobs too if ASA disappears. And then where will those "retired" Delta mangers go? ASA has been nothing but a place for them to go suck more money out of the system for theirselves. Look at how many of these managers are ex-Delta here.

Yeah just like you ALPAites were so SURE comair would shoot down those paycuts and the same went for delta and ect. People will finally get the fact that now its not just some Managment tactic that it is actually happeneing. That ASA not only lost growth because of alpa but we are losing what we already have because of alpa.

Tell me is there a way I can't keep my 2% of my pay that alpa robs me of? Or do I have to give them my money aggainst my will?

wow 20 a month, if that were the case then there would be 20 new Capatin slots open per month but I have seen 5 at the most per month usually none. You must get your "facts" from alpa. ASA will furlough and Alpa will be to blame because they don't know how to negotiate. Shouldn't been so greedy in 02 and 03 trying to wait for the industry wage to go up and maybe we would have a contract now and not have all our planes and jobs going to Skywest.

I told you to go watch your Saturday morning cartoons little girly boy!

130 Pilot positions will be lost and due to the fact that we are not losing those 20 a month that I keep hearing about then there will have to be furloughs anyone not on the ALPA teet can see that.

Name calling, thats a pretty typical debating tactic that the thug mentality has and thats what ALPA is a group of white collar thugs. Just like all unions who are nothing more than the mafia.

Alright now girly boy. I told you to go watch your little carton show didn't I? But, to answer your question, yes, there is a way. Go apply at SKywest! Until you do that, you will give your money to ALPA. So, there you are. Quit so that you can get over yourself and stop your whining.

So now what do you ALPAites have to say for yourselves. You are going make ASA shrink. 120-140 people will be out of work because you can't take the ALPA blinders off your overinflated heads.

Holy cow! ASA ALPA gets to decide how many airplanes the company flys and what the staffing levels for the company are! That's amazing, how the heck did you bargain for that? That's power! I would think that if ALPA had any control over staffing they would actually want more pilots, but I guess that's not the case. Those evil "ALPAites" are trying to screw Kooter by getting rid of jobs.

Kooter, did your mother have any children that lived?
