Well done, my friend. Broadcasting's loss is aviation's gain - as well as a loss (win) for age discrimination.

You won't screw any pooches. Just be as well prepared and as well organized as possible, and you'll be fine. Just as you teach your students.

Don't give up the avatar, though.
 
Imagine a really BIG rollercoaster. You're in the front car as it's being winched up to the top of the highest part. You get used to that ratcheting sound...ditditditditditdit...then the sound stops. There it is, a 300 foot drop. A lot of exhilaration, wonder, and sheer terror as the car starts over the top.


That ratcheting sound just stopped.....
