Here is a little intel on what is going on after the interview. Got a call from one of the people who interviewed with me and he got a pool letter yesterday, less than two weeks from interview date (sent usps). Also got a call from someone I know on the inside (that is the truth) and he said they are letting people know in about two weeks. Not doing phone calls due to work load, just sending letters. Have not received a letter yet and tomorrow makes two weeks. Been hunting down the postman every day.

I just got the call for an interview and will be headed out to "Loo-vul" in a few weeks. Looking for intel. How many people did you interview with? How many are they hiring? I've heard 150 before years end. Also heard ANC opens as a domicile in spring 07. Any reality to that? They have been hiring at a snails pace for the last year, how many are still in the pool? etc...

I filled out the new online app a couple weeks ago. At the end where you can "upload" your resume I did so using a Microsoft Word "doc." file. When I checked my online profile today I clicked on my resume that I uploaded and it said it was an ASPX file and it looked like a bunch of jumbled text? Anyone have any similar problems?

Thanks

I posted another thread on the majors board, but today UPS said that they are going to give preference to current and qualified 747-400 pilots and MD-11 pilots to be based in ANC. You will probably see UPS start to give people with heavy jet time and international experience preference for interviews than people without that background. This is all due to the explosive growth in Asia.

71 kilo,

congrats. the interview is real layed back. I just finished yesterday and though things went well. just have to wait and see.

328,

If this is how she treats me now, I can only imagine what the teen years are going to be like!

I have applied under the new system. According to the website your app. stays active for 60 days I believe. Does this mean you need to reapply if you don't hear anything in this timeframe? Also what is the difference between having your app. "active" vs. "on file"?

Appreciate any info.

Yeah LLB is my hero as far as swimming abilities go. My app's been in for about a year and I'm still hoping to get called for an interview. Thanks for the posts guys.

What kind of time do you have if you don't mind?
