I followed the directions to the letter. I brought exactly what I was told to bring and nothing more. I was not asked for anything extra. I can tell you that Paig had her laptop open and seemed to be looking at what was stated on my LOR.

It took 4 weeks for the Poolie letter, then it took 17 months to get out. If youget the letter, just keep the faith. If it happen to me(that is getting out) it will happen to you and my other poolie buds.

I got my letter one week to the day after the interview. I interviewed on a Monday and it was postmarked that Wednesday.

You also need to take into account when the interview board meets. If they only meet once a month (not saying they do, I have no clue) then it will take longer for the pool letter to reach you if you interviwed at the begining of that month.

Yeah LLB is my hero as far as swimming abilities go. My app's been in for about a year and I'm still hoping to get called for an interview. Thanks for the posts guys.

Here is a little intel on what is going on after the interview. Got a call from one of the people who interviewed with me and he got a pool letter yesterday, less than two weeks from interview date (sent usps). Also got a call from someone I know on the inside (that is the truth) and he said they are letting people know in about two weeks. Not doing phone calls due to work load, just sending letters. Have not received a letter yet and tomorrow makes two weeks. Been hunting down the postman every day.

I just got the call for an interview and will be headed out to "Loo-vul" in a few weeks. Looking for intel. How many people did you interview with? How many are they hiring? I've heard 150 before years end. Also heard ANC opens as a domicile in spring 07. Any reality to that? They have been hiring at a snails pace for the last year, how many are still in the pool? etc...

I filled out the new online app a couple weeks ago. At the end where you can "upload" your resume I did so using a Microsoft Word "doc." file. When I checked my online profile today I clicked on my resume that I uploaded and it said it was an ASPX file and it looked like a bunch of jumbled text? Anyone have any similar problems?
