Company is rumored to be changing around 20 ORD-PVG/ ORD-LHR 777 bid allocations due to a possible 100 or more early outs on Feb 1...

whatever happens, we BETTER NOT see a DL-style "contract captain" deal. Methinks we're gonna have some pretty nice leverage on this one.

Hey Dumb Dumb,

They are canceling because of low seasonal loads and blaming it on low pilot coverage...wake up.

Riiight.... because they did the same exact thing last year during "low seasonal loads?" Not.

They just announced these cancellations on the ORD/DFW 777 bid allocations. On top of that, the monthly vacancy awards are already almost two weeks late because of the impending panic being felt down at HDQ.

Does that sound like "low seasonal loads"?

I believe they are very understaffed, hence why mgt is asking people to please cancel their vacations voluntarily if they can.

AA73--Have you started putting on that extra 20 lbs. you get from flying "I" ? :D

Gotta run, I've got to sell back my vacation to help out the company... NOT!

Maybe this will knock down the PUP for the Clerk, Chef and others. TC

TC - where's the love, my bro? 170lbs and 9% body fat. Let's see how long I can maintain it.

Start training tomorrow... looking forward to finding out the REAL reason why AA calls 'em HMGs or whatever, instead of the "correct" term.

P.s. It's a JET BRIDGE, mmmkay? :D
