I just wanted to say thanks to all the folks that helped me with info about NJA. I started Indoc. Monday. I did a lot of research but was still skeptical. All of my doubts were quickly put to rest. For all of you who don't buy the hype, I understand and that's fine. While you are thinking it over, I'll sit over here and wait, where it's soft, thick, plush and did I mention it's as green as an Irish Grass farmer's float in a St. Patrick's Day Parade. It is even better than I had hoped.

GIVE IN TO THE POWER OF THE DARK SIDE!!!

Needless to say, I am pretty happy.

congrats

enjoy indoc and the phrase, "lets take a 15 min break"

Captain Dad,

Are you an ex mesaba guy? I am SO glad to be out of the redtail family! Been at NetJets since Aug and love it so far.

Congrats and welcome aboard at NJA. Enjoy those 15-minute breaks and CRM at its finest later in the process. By the way, make sure that they show you the "Trunk Monkey" video clips.

About the only bummer for you might be when you order your uniforms. If you have to order from Twinhill, be prepared for some disappointment. We are switching uniform suppliers in January, though.

Regardless, welcome and enjoy!

Welcome aboard! How many are in your class? Hopefully they are putting you guys up at the Embassy and not the Candlewood or other similiarily lacking hotel. Do your best to stay awake through indoc - I know its tough but they frown on snoring in class...

Sounds like you made out well Capt. Dad. Congrats, you now have one of my dream jobs.

Guitar Guy, I had a pretty good experience with Twin Hill so far (I did Indoc a couple months ago), although maybe it was a fluke. The stuff arrived in good shape and on-time, and the exchange (the MW guys measured me wrong on the jacket) was quick and painless. Guess we'll see how it holds up, though! :D

I will try to answer all the questions.

I am former XJ (good luck guys). Very happy to be out of the "RED".

I was offered DAL and CMH but all bases were offered in our class. All bases were also awarded in our class. I think all Encore and hawker 400.

Our class has a weird mix. I think 13 new hires and several return from leave and one pilot trainer/manager guy. All great guys and a lot of experience. Fresh to crusty, Military, fractional/charter, to 121.

We are in the Candlewood. It's not too bad (thin walls). Thank God for the Car.

We were told that we were the last to go through Twin Hill. Next supplier is a mystery to all I have asked. M&H or whatever it says in the new revision.

Which shirts are better, Twin Hill or Van Heusen? I have had Van Heusens before and liked them but know nothing of Twin Hill.

The Hose Starts Opening Tomorrow.

Still a little numb. Can't believe it's real.

I have a couple pair of Twinhill pants that I won't wear because of that silly tab adjuster that I didn't know was on those slacks when I ordered. I think the Leo Meyers apparel was much better than Twithill and I'm hoping the new M&H uniforms will be very good.

By the way, your jackets and slacks from Twithill won't match the shade of blue on the new M&H uniforms from what the uniform committee is saying.

But how about we get back on topic and welcome Captain Dad aboard?

For me, it came down to the pocket opening. I don't like the fake pockets that are completely open across the top.

Even though I'm not impressed with Twinhill, I do think their shirts clean up pretty well if you get a stain on them. That comes in handy sometimes in the middle of the day...
