I always thought this was just internet lore. But yesterday I got to experience one of those Republic F/O tools first hand...............Hey buddy, get over yourself!
I believe the person was EMB_170Skillz
hahahahahaha
ahhhhhhh good times good times
you people are too easy
But for RJ pay, right???
Hey, it's a cool plane. But, get over it. It's an RJ, pays like an RJ, schedules like an RJ. It's an RJ. Not a "mini Bus'!
Here at SkyWest I have never saw that sticker on any of our bags.
You guys have a "70 seats for 50 seat pay" sticker there?
Yes it's an override, but in the end it equates to the same thing.
I don't work for RAH, nor do I have SJS....what am I supposed to get over?
I prefer "BroZilla", thank you.The best thing coming from the Skywest pilot group though is calling a Brasilia a "Bro."
OK, for someone that enjoys being paid from the moment he steps on the property to the moment he leaves and doesn't have to worry about the ridiculous math you people have to do to make sure your paycheck is right...can someone please explain to me how the SKW -700/-900 override "isn't the same"? I'm at least fairly certain what Caspian27 means is that, at the end of the day, his check (including the override) comes out to more than an RAH F/O. So, do explain...No... it's not.

Gotcha...thanksThe override only applies to block time. Any soft time from vacation, cancellations, training, etc... only gets paid at the base 50-seat rate. A guy at ASA on the 70-seater gets paid all of his credit time at the 70-hour rate instead of just the block time. It adds up to quite a bit of difference.
