Letter posts
I don't mind that you got my screenname of "bobbysamd" wrong. But what in the hell is "neavy" iron? Is that something like the "jeavy" iron you wrote about last spring? And, what do you mean by "deestroy"? "idon't?? (I got your meaning from context.) Having made these observations, let's try re-casting your post in English:
"You prey on me because I am a young pilot who will make it to the heavy iron before you and I never had to instruct. Why do you try to destroy the dreams of mine? Are my letter posts offensive to you? I don't understand."
First off, I know of second and third-graders who write better than you. Proving once again, that anyone, even cretins like you, can become a "line" "pilot" via P-F-T. Do you know what "via" means, "Mav"?
Yes, I do find your posts to be offensive. I do not like what they stand for or what you stand for. I will say it once more. Aviation is a traditional, conservative business. Until P-F-T schemes came along, pilots worked for years to build experience and wait for years to get their chances. You couldn't even carry these pilots' flight bags, "Mav." To see "people" like you attempt to cut in front of those who have worked hard to get their chances is, indeed, downright offensive.
And, not to mention stupid, for at least a couple of reasons:
Reason No. 1: Although TAB might promise interviews, there is no guarantee that you will be hired from those interviews. You might be left high and dry and weighed down with debt with all that great paid-for SIC turbine time and B1900 type rating, which will be totally useless.
Reason No. 2: You have no assurances that you will be treated honestly during your P-F-T training. How do you know, or not know, that your P-F-T provider will not contrive a reason to wash you out and keep your money? You don't know, for sure. Here's another word for you, "Mav": F-R-A-U-D.
I won't get into the pride one feels about accomplishing something and earning something on one's own. That is beyond your ken, "Mav."
No, I won't be flying any "neavy," "jeavy" or any other kinds of iron anytime soon. And, that's fine. I tried - and every flying job I had I obtained through real hiring, not by paying the company for it. Moreover, I seriously doubt that your P-F-T experience will lead to the "neavy," "jeavy" or whatever iron to which you aspire. There are pilots on hiring boards who are anti-P-F-T who will automatically blackball those who have. Think about it, "Mav."
Finally, you brag about never having to instruct, but you have posted a number of times about how tough instructing is. My 3549 hours of flight instructing say that you have no clue at all about flight instructing.
No one is trying to "deestroy" your dreams, "Mav." You "deestroyed" them yourself ab initio by P-F-Ting.
(I realize I've probably been suckered by flamebait, though, at times, it is hilarious. But "Mav's" whole series of postings warranted this kind of lengthy response. I'll wait to see if he can answer Zeroline's questions above about 1900s. After all, he's earned a big-time B1900 type at TAB.
