I didn't say the 'reduction in all employees compensation packages is good for the company', I meant it was necessary to remain open. Plus, how do you know that senior leadership hasn't been included in the reductions? Fact only here please.
The former CEO/COO are not relevant anymore. Just let it go.
Define FUD (in your view).

I'm a little curious Skanza, if you're not in management in any way (or weren't), how do you know for a 'fact' that a reduction in employee compensation packages is necessary for the survival of the company? Have you seen the company books? Or are you just believing everything management tells you? What makes you so sure they're being honest with you?
Personally, I don't care whether you're for or against a union. But you claim to represent the 'facts'. So how is it a 'fact' that the reduction in compensation packages is necessary for survival? Maybe this economic crisis is just an excuse by management to take away from the employees.

Long story short, if ANY company is dependant on sales to stay in business, then no reduction in employee compensation will save it if the sales aren't there. Plain and simple. So if I were an employee at a sinking company (and I may very well be right now!:eek:) I'd want max compensation until the last day knowing full well that if things are THAT bad, giving part of my compensation isn't going to save it.
