Yes its true, I would imagine its because all we try to do is run a business, help people and earn a living. But all we get is screwed by the government, moaned at by people who can't understand why things cost so much, moaned at by people who have toothache, moaned at by people who want an appointment NOW, and can't have one, moaned at by people who read the Sunday supplements and think they know more than we do, moaned at by people who look up stuff on the internet, and think they're a freaking dentist, moaned at by menopausal women who dont like their new teeth, even though there's nothing wrong with them,
People trying to sue you because they they obviously know more than you do about teeth, and you didn't do it right.
Staff moaning at you because they're also getting moaned at by patients all the time. Huge bills off companies that think because your a dental practice you can pay 10 times the true cost of something, and you get to the middle of your life, with a huge mortgage, a huge business loan, 3 kids to support, and an alcohol problem, and think to yourself, I don't want to be a dentist any more.
Its not helped by people who just cannot see the stresses that dentists are under, and think we all have a great life with everything we ever wanted.
Does that shed any light on the matter?
