It is true that DW has been good for Flexjet and some of Flexjet's practices are being implemented at FLOPs. Why would you not welcome that considering that I've never heard any of you say anything good about your leadership.

Wouldn't disagree with change being good, look forward to positive change. I believe it's gotten very contentious towards us in the OCC with that group and their hatred for pilots. Unfortunately I have not seen or heard of any practices that are being changed that affect flying the line.

Look bashing is all relative to whoever is saying and listening. One could be a proud employee and the other could be a proud employee and misinterpret words for emotion it happens all the time. Neither one of those guys falls into a category for bashing their own company in public. Instead of creating in-fighting and animosity( because that's what you have done) come together and strengthen the two. The truth is both managements are working together to do just that and that is TRUE whether you like it or not.

She might be good for flex, today, but tmro we could have sherringa back, and then what? That's why I prefer written rules. like an insurance policy.

Written rules are good. Next your need to be able to enforce those rules. That's why the in-house wouldn't work and the 20 page has no enforcement mechanism except going to court.

the thread title is about bases... any news not about FO's unions or what someone overhead at 31 flavors about Ferris's health that might actually pertain to bases?
 
It passed.....lol no kidding? You guys had nothing to do with it passing or failing. The implementation of the new bases and the as of yet undefined details was a forgone conclusion.

It passed because the pilots have been asking for bases for a long time and finally got a chance to add some.

What undefined details are you referring to, or are you just trying to spread some FUD?

Get over it. A topic went to a vote and the process worked as advertised, regardless of whether you voted yes or no. Sixty-five percent of the pilot group had enough faith in the process that they voiced their opinions over the past three weeks. Out of the rest of the 35%, some had no skin in the game and probably just didn't vote while others here are just anti-survey all together. Ninety percent of the 65% voted in favor so your whining about something that you had no part of is a bit sophmoric.

Your argument seems to suggest that had it not passed the pilot vote that the company would've implemented the bases anyway. This would be inspite of them telling us that if it did fail that they would try something else in the future. Your post illustrates your disdain for the Flexjet pilot group and what a bunch of suckers that you think we are. We're all grown ups and don't need your snide remarks or useless commentary telling us what would or will happen anyway. Why can't you just be satisfied that the process worked and it's a win-win for the company and pilots? And btw, the details were known ahead of the vote which is why the 10% probably voted no.

Or the vote to have your medical benefits returned to what they were before?
 
Yes, the PTO cut sucked but our benefits remained in place as far as I can tell. When is your vote for a payraise or to restore your 401k that you lost?
