I've never understood why it is, when one company doesn't have a UNION, that that is what we need. Is it because misery loves company? Everyone has an opinion, but don't keep trying to force your lifestyle onto others that wish not to be part of that lifestlye.

I've never been a part of a unionized company, but I have been a part of one that has a CAB, and am far less than impressed. I'm sure Mr. MClain just wants to make sure that while our coming pay bump might help, that we not lose the fact that our true QOL issues won't be resolved without a contract and all that goes with it. If you work at Flex then you've probably just about come to that conclusion by now.

Let's be honest here. Tomorrow, DG will tell us what our raise is and it will be heavily increased on the bottom end. Why? Because those are the people that are going to leave if they dont. If you're an F/O at Flexjet in your 2nd year, you're making around $44k a year. Why would you stay at Flexjet and make that when you can go to Netjets and make $20k more a year and not pay for benefits? Not to mention the better work rules. DG just doesn't get it now and he never will. It's not all about money either and that is something that he has failed miserably at. Mock my words: tomorrow will be MORE OF THE SAME

I hear that he's invited the IBT to simulcast the meeting live on the Internet, and that Don Imus will be there to interview him afterwards.
