To actually answer your question, while this thread was started by an SWA guy, it was only because he heard a rumor, and wanted to know if it was true. Jeez, he even said as much. Wow, how nefarious of him. The only people who actually claimed it was true were St Nic, a well-known USAir East idiot, and Airline#5, who no one's ever heard of. Well, that and a few guys who sarcastically said it was true, including you, Kwick. I guess that makes you one of those "D-bags" you seem to know so much about.

Anyway, as usual, I answered/addressed your question, so how about answering mine for once: Why do you think that 5 years' AirTran service "earned" you a Southwest captain seat, when it took 10 years' Southwest service to earn that same Southwest captain a seat? I'm serious--tell us why you think that's true. Or are you just going to pretend you didn't see me calling you out, wait a couple of days, then spout your unsubstantiated crap anew? You know, like you usually do.
