Sorry for the hijack, but since there are obviously Evergreen guys reading this...

A buddy of mine may have an in to go fly a KA for Evergreen if Afghanistan. What are the odds of eventually moving over to the big plane side? (Down the line a ways, he'd be happy with the contract stuff until the flying went away).

they are two diffrent companies same parent company. i dont know of anyone from helicopters coming to the airline in a long while.
 
Every once in awhile it happens. One of my Lear FOs moved over to the 121 side. It used to be a lot easier, but after EAI went union it became more difficult. You have to surrender your company seniority and start over. If you do a good job over there and if DMS likes you, if you indicate that you would like to go over to the dark side, EAI will be told to interview you. If you get the job or not depends on you.
