Does anyone know if Eagle Med is hiring fixed wing pilots at this time?

No, not that I'm aware of anyway; we just hired two pilots and are filled up at the moment. Openings don't pop up very often. Good company and QOL here. Sorry!

I heard an Eagle Med trying to get into ICT this morning had to try a few times to make it happen. Whats up with that? I made it in on my first try and thats even with a brand new F/O. 200 ovc my arse.

I guess I must just be a stone cold pimp yo. imp:

On a more honest note EM seems to be a great place to work with relatively little turnover. If you don't mind livin' in a random Kansas location. I know I was impressed with them when I was thinking about coming on board. I just wasn't to keen on living in Goodland. That was honestly the hardest decision I had to make turnin' them down.

I was just breakin balls. I have much respect for the guys at EM. Single pilot IFR with lives that are depending on you completing the mission. Good stuff.

VERY, VERY, VERY different companies. Eagle Air Med is the one in Arizona that just had the crash. It's also the one that has lost its CAMTS accreditation numerous times over the years for such things as failing to report accidents and incidents. There will ALWAYS be pilot openings at Eagle Air Med because the corporate culture is one of employee abuse- therefore high turnover. Can't speak for Eagle Med but if they rarely have open pilot positions it must be that they treat their pilots better.

Summary: Eagle Med-Good place to work
Eagle Air Med- Bad place to work

Haha, I thought that was you! Saw you guys heading out of ICT the other night when I was driving in for a flight. Can't mistake those beacons on the F at night! It's been really busy for us lately; I was on the night shift last week and did at least 2 flights every night, had 3 once I think. Busy, busy, busy. You're down South now, right? Jay's heading down there next week for BE350 training...sounds like he got himself a nice job; the guy deserves it.

I worked for alot of bottomfeeders in day,before getting hired at Netjets.Eagle Med is a top rate company that treats their employees very good.
