Or 50 757s
or 25 747s
I haven't seen the TA yet either, so I will hold judgement. But, I have been hearing that rumor about the company wanting to replace some of the 50 seaters with 76 seaters, but not the same number. The "ratio" would change for the better (for mainline) is the rub. The 50 seaters are going away anyway because of the economics, but the company supposedly could get away from some of the leases if they "trade up". First off, I don't see anything larger than 76 seaters going to DCI, that is for sure. As far as extra 76 seaters go, I want to see how this will affect the mainline pilots. If there will be less TOTAL RJs and the ratio does come down in mainline's favor, and the company can make more money that the pilots could share in profitsharing, I might consider it. If the TA as a whole isn't great for the pilots, then it will be a NO. I wonder how Dalpa is going to word this? With Urgency I am sure. We'll have to wait and see I guess.
