You really need to come up with some new schtick! This is played out. If you want to call anyone a "sellout," look no further than the mirror, Mr. "pay for training.";) The southwest pukes with their pay for training requirement, and introduction of the support of "age 65" has killed this industry more than anyone. But then, stagnation is your payback, bitch!

That's great Scoot. When you are waiting in line for takeoff, just remember those larger RJs in front of you are flown at regional rates by regional pilots. The same size planes you guys used to fly less than 5 years ago. Enjoy that!

Disclaimer: Southwest has no RJs.

Those large RJs were just bumped down to cover outgoing 50 seaters. Your 717s (ironically the size of DC9s you said our 76 seaters are replacing) are in turn covering for the 76 seaters. That's called recapturing flying. Isn't that what we SHOULD be doing? You were complaining that we gave it away, yet now, thanks to your 717s, we're taking it back! A move in the right direction....

Just making sure you guys know what the industry thinks of you. We didnt forget. No need to puff out that double breast and act cocky- you aren't the best job in the industry and you've done quite a bit of damage.
A year later- it isn't forgotten-
You aren't USAPA- but you don't have a good track record-

So no acting cool on the van- we don't think you're cool, we don't care if you don't talk or thumb your noses up at anyone- you just look like an idiot when you do considering who you are and what you've voted for

Way too harsh Wave. We voted on a better contract that raised wages, tightened scope (INTL and domestic (AK)), and provided a way to reduce overall RJs while ensuring mainline to recapture routes that were lost to RJs before, and now will be mainline again with 717s. The 76 seaters were already out there, owned by other companies as well as DL (can't just take those over when owned by someone else on contracts with mainline).

You guys continue to pay for your training on the SWA side, and treated the AT people horribly, totally avoiding fair arbitration. We don't expect you guys to understand a lot on that topic anyway, your management stepped in and you avoided it. We'll have to see how the affected group feels about that in the future, but needless to say it may affect that "luving" feeling you think everyone has. Like Elvis, it may have left the building.... And that's not good. But hey, I still can't wait to see you or any SWA crew in the van on my next layover, in Stuttgart.

In 10 years it'll either be too harsh or not nearly harsh enough

I am so glad this site allows ignoring idiots like Wave......
