Is there a public FFDO database anywhere? I hope this guy was completely legit.

Really, you think? People from other airlines must have better things to do than stalk Delta threads. After all that would be kind of....................

In all fairness, 2 of those pages will be General Lee making fun of SWA and Lubbock, while another 2 pages will by SWA pilots telling General to STFU. ;)

So, yes, 5 pages is attainable.

Yeah, it's on the same website with the CIA Spy database and the undercover cop database.

Thanks for the sarcasm. You'd be surprised what is public. Your airman records are even public.

I was just curious if this DL pilot was an on duty FFDO. Don't think thats supposed to be a secret. Is it?

Often times the local-yocal cops, even the ATL airport types, have wet dreams over this kind of 'bust.' Maybe the arresting officer didn't know or give the pilot a chance to identify himself as an FFDO.

I'm thinking more like 6 now, unless the other thread started by a swa pilot gets more hits.

Read one article that says he has been a DAL pilot for 13 years...hmm but he is only 32?? WTF is he DAL Connection guy, Northworst? That would have made him 19 at his DOH...? Either the media is reporting erroneous info or this guy is another retard who just got through "Ace's Rich Kid Pilot Wannabe Program"

Either way what a dumbass!

The story has a lot of false info in it. Leave it at that.

There is no public FFDO database! Read the story and then read what type of gun it was.

I read the article linked from the top of this thread. There was just mention of a 'concealed weapon' no mention of a type.

If he is not an FFDO, then this idiot should not have brought ANY type of weapon, concealed or not to the airport.

Reason #2547458 why one should never, EVER use a bag they travel with to transport weapons and/or ammunition to a range.

EVER!

I think you are the idiot for jumping to conclusions. Have you ever forgotten something? Could have been an honest mistake where he simply forgot the firearm was in the bag. TSA found it. No harm no foul.

It wasn't me, but my wife says I have a "concealed weapon" in my shorts....

Bye Bye---General Lee

People who 'forget' they are carrying a gun should not be allowed to carry it.

Pilots who "forget" a checklist item, should not be allowed to fly an airplane. I hope one day I can be perfect just like you.....

U need one more lap by the psych, dude. Like they say, every now and rhen, one slips through.

Boiler Up hit the nail on the head. I know of another person this happened to. There are many others who have carried a pocket knife (happened to me, figured it out before I hit the metal detector), ammo, etc, and gotten busted with it. Unfortunately I don't think there will be "no harm, no foul". Hopefully there's a few avid shooters in the Delta offices that will understand.

Ummmm. Just to let you know there are thousands of us who travel on hunts that bring guns to the airport. I'm sure you knew that and your knee jerk poorly thought out response didn't leave you time to think. Just a mistake or omission on your part. No worries.;)
