FedEx hasn't hired since we got our new ACP (except for a few internal hires). Nobody knows what the policy will be in 2010 when we might actually need to hire again. Do not plan on FedEx hiring again for 2 years. Anybody that tells you they know what our policy will be is full of hooie.

Even with the old ACP none of those "policies" were even written, let alone in stone. The only way to get hired is to apply and network, so if you are interested that is what you need to do. Don't worry about why you might not get hired before we even start taking applications.

Good luck.

Delta=Brigitte Nielson (used to be hot, but is now worn out and ugly)
FDX=Jessica Alba (very hot with a long future ahead of her)

This is a pretty good analogy, very few get a chance to take a crack at Jessica Alba (FDX). Almost anybody will have a shot at Brigitte Nielson (Delta). I mean she was screwing flavor flav for gods sake.

I don't care what your credentials or connections might be. You could find yourself as the only one without a chair in this musical chair game. Simply, I don't think waiting for the possibility of FDX employment in two years is worth the risk.

While DAL is not as pretty as she used to be, she is still attractive. Many will still do her!! I doubt you have been offered a class at FDX. Therefore, you are NOT guranteed a job. Unless of course, Daddy is CEO.
