I realize you did the GAA program simply as a "time-building" program, but you did it at the expense of others who worked as hard as you trying to get into the 121 world. I think that's what people are so pissed about.

Just because he paid for his job doesn't make him any less of a pilot. You would have done the same thing if you could have.

No I would not have, it's a matter of principle. And for that matter I culd have done the same, you can get a lon just by having a heart rate. I never said he is less of a pilot, he may fly better than Chuck Yeager, what's wrong is PAYING FOR THE JOB!

You need to get away from this old school way of thinking. This industry is changing, sir. It is now survival of the fittest. Whoever can get the job done for the least money is the winner these days.

You can ignore the truth all that you want. In the end, you will only have yourself to blame for your ignorance. I suggest that you get with the program.

I'll give you and Rhoid and others a dose of reality. Whether you think it's "old school" or not.

All you are doing is showing your true self to those who will be making the decisions on whether or not you ever make it to the "majors".

From what I have seen, the answser is a resounding NO.

Have a good life it that RJ, and that RJ paycheck. That's as close as you will ever come.

stupid

Man I hate the pay for training issue!!!! Everyone of us had to pay for our private to commercial Multi and possibly CFI's. But after that I am sorry, you shouldn't encourage companies to think it is in the remotest way ethical to make us pay for a job.

That is like being a burgerflipper at Miccky D's and saying how about I pay you to teach me to make a whopper....oh hell man, now I should pay you double if you promise to interview me and teach me that Micckey's doesn't make those!

Listen Up Buddy, Dont sit here and lecture me on what it takes to make it to the MAJORS. I know what it takes. It's just too bad that you cant see how this industry really works.

Now that I am on my soapbox lookout. Different issue but you also sound like the idiot that thinks it is ok for regionals to
1 Not pay you when you are in training
2 Not pay for your hotel
3 Make you pay for your charts

Man if that is how you think
I bet you are also the guy that says man I GET to fly that...don't pay me I am just excited it burns Jet-A

All of these issues are a cost of the companey doing bussiness. You don't see Taco Bell workers paying thier employers to work there. Also if the price of burrito shells go they don't give a little of thier wages to pay the difference.

So Sir you need to grow up

Somebody needs to lecture you, sonny. I'm sure you and your buddy Rhoid are living it up dreaming of the times you'll spend in the "heavy iron".

Ain't gonna happen. Never in a million years. Have another drink on me while you pull each other's puds over that big iron you WON'T be flying.

I'm about to retire from the MAJORS. I couldn't care less what you think you know or what you think I know about how this industry really works. I've been flying for a major longer than you have been alive. You think I didn't learn a thing or two along the way? I learned enough not only to make it, but to make it to retirement.

You haven't got the first clue. Nor will you ever know what it means.

Diaper need changing? Better call Rhoid.

Rhoid

I can't believe you put "CRJ FTD" in your aircraft experience. Someday when you start flying real airplanes, you'll look back on that and realize what a moron you are...

I am at a regional that doesn't pay for training and it wasn't bad at all. Management has to cut cost somewhere so we all have to be team players. Times are changing and im in front of the power curve.

You would never make it if you were starting out today. Too old school. It's best that you go ahead and retire.

I rest my case
