Wow John, you are spot on! Now go work on your RJDC proofs and also try to look more on the bright side when it comes to your career. Don't be so hard on yourself. Things could get better for you.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Very predictable inane response. Even wrong about me... never supported the RJDC, never will. Loser.

(And this is where 737 Pylt will chime in with an insane tirade).

Oh goodie, I can't wait!

Besides General, we here at SkyWest were wondering where we were going to get the aircraft required to run all of the new ATL and CVG flying on the schedule for this summer. With Expressjet taking over a few routes in SLC, it ALLLL makes sense now. Thanks! See you in ATL!

Hey general...welcome back to the "little guy" forum..nice to see your mom and dad let you off restriction so you could use their computer again.

Here's the article about "building up" terminals in JFK and other refurbishments.

ATLANTA, May 15, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL - News) today announced that John Boatright, 56, an industry veteran and former Delta leader, is returning to the company as vice president -- Corporate Real Estate. During an aviation career spanning 35 years, Boatright previously held this post, as well as other Delta leadership positions related to corporate real estate, before being named program project officer for the City of Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson Development Program.

In his new role, Boatright will manage Delta's relationships with more than 300 airport locations worldwide and will be responsible for executing long-term plans to improve and expand facilities at Delta's hubs, including New York-JFK, Atlanta, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Cincinnati. ``Over the past 19 months, Delta has reduced facility costs by more than $120 million, totally redesigned our lobby in Atlanta and made improvements to Terminals 2 and 3 at JFK. While great progress has been made, more needs to be done to offer customers a great experience in all of our airports -- particularly in New York,'' said Edward H. Bastian, Delta's executive vice president and chief financial officer. ``John's wealth of experience and vision will help us build on this great momentum.''

You and Shuttle America are now getting bases in ATL (don't think you are the only ones expanding), and that is actually putting pressure on all of the other DCI carriers too. Great Whipsaw. In the meantime, we will probably get some sort of 100 seater and then take back many of your routes. Those 76 seaters could be shipped back to SLC, while your 50 seaters shrink in numbers (or you could use them on ridiculous routes like MKC to CHM for Midwest???) on the DL side, and you will result in a wash. Face it, RJ growth is going away in total, and that will be bad for RJ operators who have enjoyed tremendous growth until now. See you in ATL is right! Have fun.

Did you know almost everything you have stated about ASA, us liquidating, etc has been totally wrong? You sure have been getting the shaft. Now SkyWest and Shuttle America are getting bases in ATL too. Aren't you feeling nervous yet? Oh, and by the way, did you hear we just started service to Prague and Vienna from ATL? That will be great. I can't wait.

Seems somebody got a bit defensive about the SEC insider info leaking....HMMMMM Own some stock? maybe a quick panic attack and fast searches of press releases to CYA.... I wonder if you're gonna go scrub you other pompous posts in the other forums?????

Good thing you have a leach... I mean Lawyer in the family.... it'll cut down on the legal fees.

"I heard that from him directly. So, I think you are wrong. Hey, I love those CR9s you fly here in ATL. Right?"

Still though... It's gonna be hard to explain this one away.

I heard that on a weekly phone message he gives to the troops. He also said we have been doing a great job as a group, and we need to keep it safe out there. I did hear it from him directly, in my left ear, and so did all of the other pilots and anyone who works for Delta who has access to the phone line. He stated we were on our way to rebuilding a great Delta, and that several projects are underway to do that, including those. He was never specific about anything that could be leaked, just very general in nature and things we already knew essentially.

You know, you can hear things from people several ways, and I did NOT say he told that to me face to face. And, it turns out I even got his title wrong. That could have clued you in right there, if you actually knew. But, I actually did talk to a guy named Bill Gates, and he said invest in GOLD. Oh, and President Bush told me DIRECTLY that the War was over in IRAQ too. I think he may have even said my name.....

Have a great one!

I proved that the info I just stated was from articles that were printed prior to my posting. And, as I said above, he gave everyone the same messages, including kudos to us during the Winter season for lack of accidents. And, I don't have any stock, I sold mine in the claim sale before any was issued. I did really well. Good try.

Are you really on crack? What the heck are you talking about? I've never said anything about Delta liquidating...unless you clowns were to go on strike, which EVERYONE but you clowns knew would NEVER, EVER happen. What I said was you clowns would sign the new contract (just like you did) and you clowns would give up more scope (just like you did) and you clowns would still ask for a "wind check" on calm days with 10,000 feet of runway in front of you (just like you do every day)..duh!

Why would I be nervous about Skywest and Shuttle having bases in ATL? ASA isn't going anywhere, although I am (to a NON-alpa airline, thank god!)

Prague and Vienna? woohoo! You can have 'em. The only place you guy's go that I'd even seriously consider attractive is England/Ireland/Scotland. You can have the rest. By the way, I don't do what I do for the overnights ( I don't need to try to stroke my own ego and try to impress the rest of the room). I do this because it allows me to be at home and involved with my children's lives FAR, FAR more than the average dad.

Moving on, eh? I thought you said you love being able to be right there to pick your daughter or kid up from school and have that flexibility? I guess that is out the window now. Well, eventually you will get some seniority and do the same, I guess. A non union airline too? Yikes. You better be a great pilot and a brown noser.

Yeah, Thanks for that one. Whipsaw free-for-all created by Mainline Delta pilots relaxing capacity scope. Why you guys let anyone else do your flying in your colors, REGUARDLESS of aircraft size, I'll never be able to figure out. Good luck closing pandoras box, we will all need it.

Who said anything about non-union airline or not being able to continue to do the same as I've been doing? You are SO narrow minded its pathetic.

By the way, I am a pretty good pilot and I can sure "brown nose" with the best if needed.

And here you have it folks. The first girl to get hired at SKYBUS!
Congrats dooshbag! What ever will you do now that you're not in management?!

Oh, a NON ALPA airline. Oh, big difference. Well, good luck with that. And, unless you are going in as chief pilot, you will have to start over like the rest of us, at the bottom. Maybe it is Airtran in ATL, which could keep you at home? How will the Midwest deal affect that? Have a great one.

15 days off a month is 15 days off a month. I have no idea what the midwest deal is going to do with Airtran, nor do I care.

GREAT!! Now you will be a "Gear Bitch" and get what you really deserve! IDIOT...good luck with that MidWest thing...:smash:!

Looks like Genny LEAK is tap dancing like a fool or misrepresented her dealings with management....... I can't believe her crediblity has sunk LOWER! It's almost as funny as when she said she would stand up and vote NO... then bent forward, grabbed ankle and said YES, YES, Please Grinsty YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So What were the THREE things that WSURF told you that you and you lady friends were gonna do when you were strutting around spouting "NO" prior to your NOT-SO manly stand against scope EXPANSION?!

I can't remember....

Did 737pilot vote yes also? Or did he stand strong? Do you hang your head when you talk to him in the crew room? You wish you had a spine huh!?

Maybe in your next life......Now, you're just like billy shakespeare said... "lots of sound and fury.... " You can google the rest 'cuz I bet your GA education didn't cover the rest.

Debating with you is just so much fun and so easy, that's why I can't resist.

You claim to know the loads into Montana based on your visits to your sister's house once every summer. Real scientific that method. SkyWest has added a bunch of 70 and 76 (never, never going to happen, we will never cave on scope) seaters. I did a quick search on the internet. It looks like Delta has only upgraded the service between SLC and BIL to anything larger than a 50. FCA MSO BZN HLN GTF BTM are still being flown on 50's. Now the one thing that I do agree with you on is that you have some pretty sharp cookies running things at Delta. Don't you think that if these loads were large enough to run a 100 seat aircraft in there, that maybe, just maybe they would put a 76 seater on all these in the mean time?

I personally hope that SkyWest and Delta can maintain a long and mutually beneficial relationship. But don't think for a second that Delta holds all the cards. SkyWest has a ton of cash on hand as well as access to an amazing amount of credit. SkyWest has partnered with Midwest. They will be flying something like 15 aircraft. Big freaking deal. Gaining that flying did not boost there stock price, losing it would not lower it. Especially considering the buy out on the contract that AirTran would have to pay.
Now for the fun part. With all of the cash and credit, SkyWest could purchase both Midwest and Airtran. When Delta gives them the boot, Delta would be stuck with a ton of 50 seat aircraft. SkyWest would take the ASA gates in Atlanta to expand the hub there.

Will this happen probably not. But you have to know that SkyWest understands the state of the industry and knows that the regional boom is over. It's time for them to grow in other ways.

I respect Delta management. I think they have done a great job. After all they got you to take a pay cut and defend it. That is amazing leadership. I mean that with all sincerity and no sarcasm.

I'm only new to bad stocks and you need a lesson in economic theory, finance and a little business sense: companies do not engage in initial or secondary offerings with the expectation of immediate losses of about 1/3--you're on crack; if you look into Cramer's information, he is as right as he is wrong. Next time you have an ORD overnight in that 800 of yours, drop me a line and I'll come lend you a book you might actually learn something from regarding stocks and investments. I haven't been to the ex-mainline Pasco in years (or Fargo for that matter), but it's apparent you have a thing for the smaller towns--which is probably good, there's enough room for your ego there, but just enough smart people to ignore you.

It's amazing no matter what is being said here, you manage to spew crap that is grounded in neither theory or research. Your knowledge of market moving and stock valuation is amazing...enjoy your Frankfurt overnights--the Germans are probably ruing your return.
