Yeah, I think hotel people get wrapped up in "pilots...!" and "crew" cue rolled eyes-- without giving thought to what we actually do for a living- might be a good idea for us to be treated well so we can rest... But that's just me

I hate it when a business traveler acts like a jerk to you when you are in uniform and are non-reving in the back. Mostly because he/she knows you can't defend yourself.

It's not that you can't defend yourself...it's that your company won't back you up.

Excuse me? of my 30+ years in this paid hobby of ours, over half of it was in corporate aviation, some of the rudest people I have ever encountered were during those years, so much in fact that I came to the conclusion that never again!

I was addressing the original post about business travelers complaining about the conditions of travel. When I was flying corporate in the States it was treated like an office, the laptops were open, meetings conducted, etc. A true business tool something the tool in the whitehouse doesn't understand.

My post's intent was to support corporate aviation something America excels at and should be supported not villified.

Ive had stints in corporate av. At least half the time it's for pleasure- no one's confused by that. A good and necessary business tool- sometimes. The problem is when millionaire's use the tax loophole designed to give a break for the plane's business use and now extend it to their vacation in Tahiti. Closing loophole's isn't anti-business, it's pro-middle class.
