you guys still make $24 first year pay or has it increased since posted on apc?

24/34 as an FO for a 90 seater isnt much.

Are you talking about Compass? There aren't any 90 seat airplanes at Compass. But i will give you that 24 or 34 isn't much to be flying passengers around in any 121 operation no matter what size the airplane.

They're potentially about to lose up to 25% of they're pilot group every year as hiring starts at DAL. You wont see that kinda movement at any other regional these days. Also the majority of their FO's are qualified to apply to other better jobs as they become available thus increasing the possible attrition numbers.

time will tell

I thought I remember reading somwhere that you had to be a compass for atleast three years before you can flow up to Delta. Does anyone know if that is true?

You have to have been on payroll for 30 months and be a captain to flow.

Just like the Midatlantic flowthrough at USAir. Anything can happen. Republic bought them and screwed their pilots. It can happen at Compass too.

100% truth.... those that think Delta Air Lines is excited about the flow.... just wait until the first "backpacker" bro shows up..... they are already having the lawyers look into ways to stop it.

Sounds like a lot of you hope the flow through fails, status quo for FI......someone gets good news at their airline and the teeth come out from everyone else....

Yeah, those damn contractual agreements always get in the way, don't they? As for "backpacker bros" you obviously don't know too much about compass. There's a lot better chance of getting a grey haired mustachio. As for Delta not liking it, the pilots may not, but Delta Itself has nothing to not like. They own compass, therefore already have control over who it hires, and if hiring continues, they will have a never ending supply of employees who never make it off the 3rd year pay scale (read a cheap labor group).

Yes, we all know. Thanks for bringing that up for the ump-teenth time on Flightinfo.

Why would the grey hairs want to go to the bottom of a seniority list and commute on reserve when they can stay and move up the pay scale? 30 years to retirement, sure, but 10-15?

Because third year pay at DL DC9 FO > twelve year CA pay at Compass with retirement and work rules to match?
