Are they only interviewing guys with internal recs? I have 2000 hours of E170 time and filled out the online app. Is there anything else I need to complete or is that all that's required for now? Thanks guys.
Have fun living on 18k a year. Oh wait do not foget about the 12k contract you have to sign to do it.
S[oken easily from somone who has never been furloughed for 18 months. F*** off man. I have worked for some of the best airlines in the country and have always towed the high road. This is the best that is out there right now. And I am estatic to get it. You are part of the problem. You're not better than us, your just luckier.
Furloughed for the past year. Guess I am not so lucky huh? It is about self worth....
There is nothing wrong with taking a job at Compass. Its a good regional job. Get off your high horse. He didn't go to Hojet.
You are simply a D0uche!!!!Have fun living on 18k a year. Oh wait do not foget about the 12k contract you have to sign to do it.
Blah, Blah, Blah.......same crap, different post!!!!! Your life sucks, so time to see if you can spread the wealth of your miseryThe point is if everyone would stop accepting these payscales it would change. Get on your high horse and make a change. You guys can come back with what ever you want but, when you have to sign a 12k a year contract for a 18 k a year job it is time to do something else.
how hard to hold DTW as a base?

We have quite a few ex-ATA guys (a couple who were very senior) in the FO ranks at Compass, they freely acknowledge they'll bolt once better opportunities arrive on the marketplace.
In the meantime though they're gaining a type rating, maintaining currency, and still doing something to bring in money for their families, even if it is a miserly sum. When things do turn around they'll be very marketable, years of experience, still actively flying, and a type rating on a 4th generation aircraft.
If you're lucky maybe your airline will recall one day, if not, hopefully for your sake some of the less selective carriers will hire pilots who've not flown for a couple years.
