Over the next two years Comair will cut 49 50-seat aircraft from its fleet bringing its total number of aircraft down from 93 to 44 by the end of 2012.
First wave of furloughs are expected to bring in Spring of 2011.
Yeah just read the letter in the other thread. Sorry-that one hurts to read
Tiff, you might be able to get a good idea on Epic by seeing when the draw down is slated to start (ie, how many airframes per quarter) and then taking approx 5 FA's per frame. With 50 leaving the fleet (I know it's 49, but go for easy math) plan on 250 minimum to be furloughed. Start at the bottom of the SN list and work up 250 numbers. Even though you'll still have approx 50 planes in the fleet, remember, the 700/900 takes 2 FA's so it's 10 FA's to one a/c. Expect to see approx 500 FA's on the SN list when it's all over.
