Agreed, but that's how stupid people have gotten with the definition.Then almost all regional pilots are scabs as we were flying routes that were once flown by mainline planes while those pilots were furloughed.

Unless this guy AF, is completely insane. He has to have some kind of source where he got all these accusations of what's going to happen...NWA flowback to Comair, Compass and MEsaba.He never does. Oh Noooooo. You just mentioned RJDC! Even if everything you said is proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, that acronym alone will generate at least a dozen posts.

That is why I can't get on board with the RJDC. They were pissed about scope and saying it restricts their job opportunities while Delta was furloughing. They wanted bigger airplanes that would have resulted in more furloughs from the majors.
Now they are bent that we are shrinking and mainline may add bigger aircraft, thus creating more mainline jobs. Even though they could apply for the higher paying jobs.

Regional flying was created when mainline pilots said they were too good to fly those little airplanes. So nice try on regionals being scabs to begin with. I am pretty sure you have more to worry about at mainline on unemployment then I do at Comair. Your days are numbered without having a problem in todays environement. The only mainline I wish harm on is you though. You now what, you are not even worth the time.....

Wow talk about ignorance. Ever stop and think that while the current TA for MAG is poor that they are fighting hard this go round and many are going to vote no? The pilots are fighting for what's right and aren't just going to settle for a pathetic PBS offer that watery at best. Perhaps you forgot that the pilots won in the long run to prevent JO from using Freedom as a whipsaw and gaining one seniority list...which is something that those at another regional weren't able to do. It's very unfortunate. But people seem to forget that.
Mesa pilots signed the last crappy contract to capture scope, if they didn't then Mesa would have renamed every aircraft "Operated By Freedom Airlines". Ask Trans States about not capturing scope and stopping GOJets is working for them now.
GoJet and Freedom were both direct results of mainline scope clauses....They were exploited by managment....but created by ALPA/APA....

Personally, I hate your routes. I'm sick of sitting in the airplane for 3-4 hour legs. We shouldn't be doing anything more than 60 minutes. But thanks to you guys, who were too good for RJ, we're doing your work.

I never voted For or Against RJs in the begining! Our union caved and gave up more RJs as we got screwed post 9-11 and in BK! I don't blame anyone including Comair for you flying RJs! I'm just amazed it took so long to turn the corner and realize what a waste these planes are. It's good that they are starting to park those things. I hear the 70 or 90 seater is better however!
