I need to get back to the IND area, or at least get into a situation where I can commute there easier. Heard CHQ is pretty firm at 1500/300 for the interview... any truth to that? Im 135 with ~1300 TT and loads of multi turbine. Thanks.

Any Republic holdings pilots that could get me some contact info for a pilot please PM me. He used to be my flight instructor and maybe he can help a furloughed TSA guy get a job.

I've heard from multiple sources both within management and the pilot group that the 1500 hr minimum is HARD, straight from the mouth of the DO.

Nothing is hard. Its all about who you know, not what you know. Unless you are a women or majority.

actually some things are hard, the 1500/300 is one of them. at least it was 2 weeks ago when i tried to "walk in" a resume for a former student. he had 1400/220, straight from LB's mouth, no go.

You must not know the right people to get your friend hired.

PS LB doesn't know jack, never has never will.

Looking at the latest seniority list, it appears that they haven't been running many classes (compared to months past). Maybe thats why some folks aren't getting called to interview.

Im based somewhere pretty far south right now but I fly into SDF nightly. And lookin at the few latest postings on aviationinterviews it looks like those guys have like 2000+. Well they have my resume anyways.

Let me tell you, Chautauqua is the place to be! Soon we'll be flying A380s for CAL. And believe-you-me, you gotta be skilled to pilot that ole girl. I know. I rode the sim in Tolouse, Europe.

So yeah, the 2000 hours is hard - we only employ the finest quality pilot. The only way around this is to be a Riddle grad and have a minimum of 3 pink shirts.

Interesting. I had sent them a couple resume's over the past few months without hearing from them. ATP, 2600 hours + and 1300 me turbine. I was wondering what I had done wrong...

You're over qualified.

Does anyone have the contact address and person I should send my cover letter and resume to? Thanks
