CE-421B Pay

I've been offered a position flying a Cessna 421B for an organization (part 91) in Myrtle Beach, SC. I was wondering what I should ask for as far as salary is concerned. I don’t think I want to do a day rate thing, I want a steady income.

As far as the type of flying goes here is what I know so far:

• They currently airline from Myrtle to DC Sunday afternoons, and return to Myrtle Wednesday or Thursday. They do this every week. (I don’t know if I’ll be stuck in a hotel or I get to fly back to Myrtle after dropping them off)
• They plan on “moving up” to the “next level” of a/c after 3 years or so (sounds like a turboprop to me).
• “The individual that will fill this position will have full authority and responsibility for servicing the aviation needs of the organization”

I’m meeting with the person who helped them purchase the plane next week so I’ll know more then.

Ask For 55k-60k, Let Them Know The Rate Would Probably A Little Lower If They Had An Aircraft That Had A Better Saftey Record, I.e. Kingair, Ect.

$45k if you're pilot only. However, they're looking for an all in one. $50-60k sounds more like it.

just saw an ad posted for a navajo doing similiar thing for 45K.

I'd say it depends if they're gonna put you up in a hotel or let you go home and if you are on call the rest of the week as well.

Also I assume it comes with standard benifits etc..

I assume more if I'm stuck in a hotel.

How much would it cost to pay for my own benifits? Can anyone ballpark it?
