Yea and being fired like the 70 and 15(Canpass) at Options dosent pay the bills either, oh and the 70 had about 5 hrs notice. Nice one DA19.

You cant hurt us any more, that is what a union does for us! I now don't have to worry about being fired for no reason!

Beavis (or is it Butthead?), you are with a contract now. You are in more jeapordy of your career and the success of the company than you have ever been. Your union can and will destroy the company over nothing and just out of principal, and the company will not be able to adjust to the economy. The company is now not as good of an investment as it once was.

You have guidelines written in stone that go in both directions. Your schedulers can now not just let you do what you want, your crew meals and other little tidbits that were previously flexible no longer are.

As your contract is implemented, you will find there are as many loopholes that the company will exploit as the union members will exploit. It becomes a war of wills that non-union companies don't have to deal with.

Enjoy your contract, the true turmoil is about to begin, and I'm going to be rolling on the floor laughing as the posts on this board shifts to QOL issues that suddenly have vanished.

You seem to think the contract is the fix all... boy, have you a lot to learn.

Wow with responses like your I can see why PEOPLE decided to block your driveway. You profess your love for great employees, then turn right around and alienate them in the same sentence. I see no need to respond to any of your post as it clearly makes my point more than your own. Bad managers are just that, BAD. You are most certainly the cream of that crop.

See what you FAIL miserably at realizing is.... Unions are PEOPLE. These people realize that working for the likes of you would be miserable.

You come across as a classic UNION BUSTER. Not a REAL manager of people.

If you care to come out from behind the shadow of the internet and identify yourself I would be more than happy to promise you never to work for you.

A sign of goodwill from me is I am currently a G200 PIC with 11 years of glorious service for the Company you seem to think is a dinosaur doomed to extinction by my fellow employees.

But I know you are only a fear mongering little man with no real ethics or pride and will therefore continue to hide behind your shadow. Your words ring it loud and clear.

You are very wrong.

Unions are not PEOPLE. They are a mob led by a business called a union which has sold them a bunch of promises. PEOPLE have hearts. Unions don't.

You clearly don't understand the business side of aviation and the negative impact of a union on the company as a whole entity.

For every pilot furlough, some poor non-union employee has already lost his job in an attempt to pay for the union contract. Dont you dare tell me that I don't care about people. All the union members on this board could give a sweet crap about any non pilot in their company as long as they keep the high pay promised by the contract. They don't care about how many hard working people are losing jobs around them, then they complain about the poor treatment they get from the company when the company has stripped all the support help in order to pay the contract wages.

This is about the entire company, not just the pilots. This is simply about union greed and nothing more.

Every post I've ever made is to support all the workers, pilots, non-pilots, support staff, mechanics within a given company. You don't think that way, you are only worried about your individual paycheck without realizing your QOL is given to you by the stability of the overall company and those within.

It's the COMPANY that creates the jobs, not the union.

Given the author, this is a facinateing statement....What it really is about.... is the worth... or value, to a peticular occupation. I believe in your world, their is no value to a job. Only value to the company. It is my firm belief that you must be socialist in nature. Have you followed and believe in the writings of "Marx...." Your only duty is to the.... "STATE."

Are you also athiestic, in your views, to other topics. Your written word, reaks of a passive individual eager to please authority.... BTW, when it comes to corporate america, whose greed are we talking about.

ignore the little man (B19) behind the curtain

Why do you feed this guy's ego?

Even when you give him crap, he just flourishes like a mushroom.

Ignore him and watch him shrivel up...again ;)

Wow... that's funny.

Here I have been fighting for individual thinking for over 3 years and completely against the mob mentality brought on by unions and you deem me a passive individual eager to please.

I'm one of very few to speak the honest truth about unions and to stand up to all the union koolaide drinkers and you deem me passive.

Wow.. that's funny.

I'm a card carrying Reagan republican that will do anything to protect the entity known as a company. The company provides the jobs for all, and the stability is paramount to its future and success.

Unions only believe in the democratic method of group mentality and ignorance of anybody from outside the clic. They force themselves on you if you want them or not, just like this Obama health care nightmare.

You believe that a group can achieve success within that company and that success is judged by the size of your paycheck. You really don't care even about the non-union person that processes your paycheck.

I believe that the it takes the entire company to achieve success and that union breaks down the stability within that company. I believe in less red tape and the freedom of individual choice. As a union member, you have no individual choice.

Without everybody else, a pilot has no job but the union considers them expendable.

BS

You sit in the office and come up without complete BS for employee's to have to do and then you run around with a big badge of honor on your chest meanwhile the employees are running around saying who is the A Hole that come up with this sh@t

I fired the unhappy people. People usually laugh at this point. I wish I were kidding.

More nasal drips......If your so proud of this so called company tell us all what it is. How about a stock symbol.
BTW I loved that book, you talk so highly of, but my take was completely different. The employees of the ship took control of a out-of- control leader. They ejected his ass.
hmmmmm

A reporter from the NY Times wrote the article and the company was privately held.
