EGGW-he's right. As far as the original question is concerned GO GULFSTREAM and your bosses will never be disappointed.
Just to add to the abuse that LegacyDriver receives I looked up the defenition of Legacy in Webster's:-

"something transmitted by or received from an ancestor or predecessor or from the past."

Apologies in advance to LegacyDriver!

You guys kill me!!

"Something bequeathed to the next generation.". Yeah baby. 50 years from now and still like new! :p

1250 lbs per hour per side. Very low cost per mile. What can I say? :). Gotta love it baby!!!!!!!!!!

And I banged my head on the doorway of the G. I don't do that on the Legacy. :)
Silly boy, that was the CREW of the "G" banging your head on their doorway for lowering the bar!

Sorry LD, had to get in on the fun! How've ya been? ;)

The G-String is good, quite a machine, except they are keeping me too busy in it! Once more of our guys get checked out in it things will mellow down a bit... Looking forward to the PlaneView later this year...

Were this so, Embraer would offer something more than a 5 year warranty. Let me remind you that Gulfstreams feature a 20 year warranty on primary and secondary structures, a 5 year bumper to bumper warranty and Rolls-Royce engines with a 7,000 hour TBO.

I've seen 960 lbs a side at 51,000 feet during the final three hours of flight and 1200 lbs a side is about average busting around the US at Mach 0.83/0.84 at FL490. Let me remind you that the G550 takes off at 91,000 lbs while the Legacy takes off at 49,604 lbs. What was that you said about efficiency?
