What's really dumb is getting into regional aviation to begin with. What's your opinion on the big announcement Einstein.

My opinion? My opinion is there is not going to be some announcement on Tuesday. However, if there is I will make sure to comment on the matter.

Those idiots out there seem to forget that in bankruptcy, the judge asks the company what concessions need to be made to make the company profitable (no matter the lies, deceit and innovative bookkeeping was involved) and then make the cuts without the approval from the workers. The practice of voting in the deal is a formality and if it's not voted in, the deal sent to the judge can be worse. Pinnacle pilots were told by alpa national and our MEC that we would be shut down in a year if we voted no. I now think that was not the truth. Nor do I trust alpa in general for they were either terribly wrong and inept or were corrupt

Look who was just named chief pilot.... Which do you think ALPA is?

yup. my thoughts exactly. I wonder what TW bonus checks from Delta will look like? I wonder how he can look an FO in the eye?

No thread for this yet. The internal speculation runs the gamut from flow for new hires only to pay increased to buying GoJet.

Got it backwards. GoJet is going to acquire Endeavor through Delta's financing with Trans States Holdings for Compass. The company will be called EndJet. On the plus side, you'll be considered the ultimate colonic collector in the industry.

They didn't just "take concessions" voluntarily. The airline was under Ch.11 bankruptcy. People conveniently forget that part of the story.

The difference is a bankruptcy imposed contract is not handled the same way in pattern bargaining than a voluntary self-imposed concessionary contract.

Court imposed contract terms can be renegotiated immediately exiting bankruptcy. Hook, line and sinker. Well played Delta, well played.

People need to understand that you can't buy go jet because they fly for United as well. However there is nothing written that says how long go Jets contract with Delta was. This simply could be a transfer of go jet planes to endeavor without the pilots. If that comes to fruition, then all those pilots to left endeavor to go to go jet for a quick upgrade will not be rewarded and the pilots who stuck it out here will be

And pilots will flop all over each other to line up and fly these aircraft at Endeavor's current wages?

....putting on my tin foil hat.....

Add a flow for new hires to delta and yes they will. I think long term you will see three wholly owned regionals at each of the three legacies, all contracts with other carriers will expire and all new flying will go to those wholly owneds with flow through rights to mainline.

So you are saying that SkyWest, Inc., the world's largest regional carrier, will cease to exist? What is your time frame?

No I'm not Skywest has always been a forward thinking company they will figure it out even if it's by themselves some of these other places I doubt it I wouldn't be suprised if express jet didn't end up being a wholly owned of united

Majors do not want anything regarding ownership at the regional level. Endeavour will soon vanish like a fart in the wind.

why are we bashing endeavor...none of them wanted to work for endeavor...DELTA is the real culprit...and if the other regionals would have offered to not greedily take other regionals flying None of us would be in this situation.
