Hopefully your wife's job will offer a better health benefits package than the one at JB (not difficult since JB's plan is pi$$-poor) - at least you will have that option. I assume you are also applying to UAL - I hear EWR is going junior on the 737 and that would work for you as well.

Good luck!
Yes she does, no need for medical insurance. We are probably moving back to Long Island so JFK base would be ideal. I will be applying to United as well. I used to drive from Long Island to EWR when i worked for Expressjet, i would bid early starts and late finishes to avoid traffic.

Do you work for jetBlue,or do you just like to troll this board?

The boys at 'spress jet said he doesn't live up to his namesake either. Have a nice life, psycho. Wouldn't trade with you for nuthin. Ahaole.

Pilotpayne and Smarta$$,

I neither work for JB and nor do I care to - especially as things stand now and based on what people tell me. Several friends there and all are looking to leave. Not one happy to be there. Most have applied to UAL and all are waiting for Delta to open up. Face it, JB is mediocre at best and the health benefits blow. Everyone agrees with that. Enjoy your Embraers on your regional-like routes. I am sure you feel like Chuck Yeager and that you are so lucky to be flying for the "Wal-Mart" of the airline industry. Good for you and God Bless!!! 10+ year upgrade, no union support with a two-faced management team, terrible health benefits, one small West Coast domicile, constant flying into headache-inducing JFK. Gee, JB sounds like an awesome career airline...

There are better choices out there. UAL is opening up and Delta should start in a year or so according to my internal contacts. Don't get me wrong - the JB crews are all great when I jumpseat and the planes/IFE are great for the pax.

Smarta$$ - it is hilarious how much of a JB zealot you are... No matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it is still a pig... Most people, given the choice, who choose UAL or Delta or FedEx ANY day of the week vs. JB. I, like my friends, will gladly wait for a major and leverage my solid, growing network.

Meanwhile, keep making a fool of yourself Smarta$$ with your lame slams and insecure statements. Wow - you fly an E190 on regional routes! You've made it!!!!

Its real simple.. How much did blue care 3 cost last year? $600 a year

How much does the green plan cost for 2013? $3800 a year

Which one "had" better coverage?

What is the new family deductible ? $2600 a 600% increase in monthly costs and a 320% increase in deductible. At least er copay only doubled

Anyone considering a job here SHOULD know the facts. The fact is that we have the worst coverage of any major airline. PERIOD !!!

Okay now you 1 year blue fo's that came from a $30 an hour regional can tell me how wrong I am.

The good news is that 3 people are retiring this year !!! 4 in 2014 !!!

Nobody CARES where you do or do not want to work. There's a reason you are at where you are now. You are going to have a hard enough time getting out of your own way let alone someone else giving you the go-ahead. You are not as anonymous as you think and this industry is too small. The book, Columbine, describes you very accurately. You share several characteristics with Eric Harris. You should feel lucky you got this far and everything else is gravy. Aside from that, the reason no one cares what you think is that you have no experience. If/when you get hired somewhere, someone might care instead of what your "friends" say. I'm sure those guys at Hawaiian will love you over there. Hehehe. Good luck buddy.

Thanks for advancing this discussion Professor Einstein! You finally get to use what you learned in your Community College psychology classes - very impreasive. Continue to live in your delusional world in which JB is the best airline out there (despite the massive evidence to the contrary). Enjoy!

I've read that book. You're out of line and rather sick to make such a comparison. You and your Bluebelle buddies on here refuse to deal in reality and can't argue facts. You deal in emotion and settle for for mediocre, you are a pariah in this industry.
