$$$$$$$

Can't complain about the paycheck, the work rules on the other hand could use some work. Another profit sharing check right around the corner :D

I do realize that due to the current state of the industry when hiring starts it could be quite coimpetitive. However, saying that, what were the minimums last time? What would they possibly be this time? What is the "secret handshake" to get HR attention?

thanks

Hi!

There are a couple of other 747 operators that pay less than Atlas. I think Atlas is actually the best paid American 747 operator. I personally think the compensation and work schedules are very good.

Delta 215$ (international)...ATLAS 176$..

Or for some more realistic hourly numbers....

Southern 3 year F/O $75
Evergreen 3 year F/O $59
Kalitta 3 year F/O $78
Atlas 3 year F/O $90

Guarantee:

Southern 60
Evergreen 65
Kalitta 62
Atlas 62

I'd say when comparing apples to apples Atlas stacks up pretty well.

After 25 years he might be making that 215/hr. Oh wait, I forgot the $ thingy. 215$/hr. There.

Hi!

It looks like hiring starting Mar, 2010.

Where did you hear that Cliff?

Hi!

One Atlas guy posted (not sure which message board...I'm on 7+) that there is a bid out this month that will recall everyone and start street-hiring. I also heard it from a couple of other non-public sources.

Does anyone know what they are going to do with the pool? I had 2 class dates the first was Aug 20 08 for the 200 that was cx. Then was given a Dec 1 08 and that was cx. I had quit Evergreen for the aug class and have been waiting for Atlas. I am happy to see things moving right along. I just talked to a friend and he just got his recall about 30 min ago...

Will all newhires likely get the 400 or will some go to the 200? What is the status of the 200 fleet - is it shrinking or status quo?

Also, do the 400s fly both scheduled and ad hoc flights?

Thanks Cliffster!

What were the mins last time?

Current Bases:
-400
JFK, LAX, ANC, IAH, HSV and MIA
Another bid is about to be run so Senior vs Junior is TBA. As of now HSV is the most junior. If based in MIA or HSV then expect 4 on 2 off type of scheduling. HSV primary for Panalpina and MIA- S America Ops.
IAH will be for the SONAir ops which has yet to start.

Hopefully more answers will come forward as we go on toward hiring.
