Saves me from having to see for myself just how "cool you are" in the crew room spewing the latest drivel from your FOM!
You would not want to read our FOM. I'm way cool.

Passed the interview TWICE dipsh*t. The fact I was ATA was the kiss of death at the DB. Don't yank my chain sonny, I've been around. I was losing my job because of SWA and looking to stay employed. I have a lot of friends on the inside including the PD, I know the whole drill.
[/quote]What pisses me off is the way SWA handled the furloughs of over 500 ATA pilots. Over the course of the rape of ATA, SWA hired what, say 1200 or more? How many ATA pilots were picked up 20, maybe 25. SWA doesn't want experience.
Nor were we looking for a handout from SWA, just some respect (of which we never got.) Also I've flown with Mega and she is a great stick.I can fly circles around you. Are we talking about Chicago Express? You were never at ATA...how would you know?
Source? You have to pass the interview, repeat: one has to PASS the interview. We just don't hand out jobs to anyone.

757, If you interviewed like the last few posts, it is pretty easy to see why they did not hire you.

If thats the case then..... & Fed Ex disrespected me.....
You really want to know huh? Well, SWA broke a promise that that they made to me. I was an ATA furloughee, who at the time of furlough did not have the 1000 PIC. When I got furloughed, I called SWA to let them know my situation. I was told, by SWA, that they would hold my pref interview slot for me until I got the 1000 PIC. At that point I got hired on as a street captain for Pinnacle so that I can work on my PIC time. It was the worst 8 months of my life, but I sucked it up so that I could get the interview. Well when I crossed that magical 1000 PIC mark I made an immediate call to SWA to inform them that I was ready. I was then informed that my pref interview was revoked and please give us a call back when you have 1300 hours PIC and a type. I could just feel the LUV.Have you ever flown with me? Where did you fly with Mega? Chicago Express? That is not ATA. Thats like saying Comair is Delta.
Give me an example of how Southwest disrespected you? Did they call you names? Or just not hire you? Did they make fun of your background, race , religion? What? I'm dying to know.
Raising hell and throwing chairs around.
Maybe you could coach basketball at Texas Tech.
You know, I just heard the other day from a guy in the "know" that SWA was thinking of lowering the mins again. I guess, the concern is they are running out of qualified applicants. It might go down to 1000 PIC again....soon.

Well, since you have NOT A CLUE.....I guess I have to S-P-E-L-L it out for you.
I know A LOT of people from ATA and I have also flown with a lot of them. It doesn't matter where I flew with them, but I am sure they could fly circles around you! At least that's what I heard from the captains you fly with. I know people at SWA too and they are all not brainwashed like you and some of the clan.
this makes me laugh,. Its getting dark

757flier,
Back up a second. You said you got hired twice? We raised the mins a year ago. You interviewed twice in a year? And SWA told you you had to have a type to apply? Sounds like you got not only one but two interviews from someone that said they'd give you one.
What's the scoop? I'm trying to piece your story together.
Gup
Got your app up to date? Maby third time's a charm. Hiring a bunch in the next few years.2000, and 2005. Refs and BG checked both times. Not typed in 2000, only guys picked up from interview had types, my loss. Second time, all bases covered, typed, interviewed, refs checked, insiders called. You tell me? Twelve interviews that day, three ATA besides myself. All of us got shined on. I like the conspiracy theory best. BTW all of us typed, Mil background, lots of heavy experience. But, we were all ATA. SWA did pick up a couple of regional guys that day, one with no jet, but he had a green card though! Go figure!

You wont find the SWA/FO hangin out on the freight dog page, do you? Also, you don't find the SWA/FO hangin on the US Airways, TWA or Fed Ex pages do you? Those airlines disrespected the SWA/FO....(for the average person that means they didn't hire him) but you don't find him hangin out on any of their threads do you. Its simple, he is over the disrespect (rejection for most people) they gave him. You are not.
The SWA/FO's name did not come from the short stack. He was in one of the largest stacks they have. Plus, he had to overcome the fact that - he is not Mil trained. :0 this would be a death sentence for some Civ trained pilots, but luck was on the SWA/FO's side that day and Southwest chose not to disrespect him (they hired the SWA/FO). End of job search for him.
Lets remember - the SWA/FO has flown freight in the past, but you have never flown more then 20 passengers in your life.
