Here's the thing...

Accept and except are two different words. Pronounced differently with totally different definitions.

Evenhanded is a word. Look it up. It doesn't mean an even number of hands.

Admit when you're wrong. I'm not a typo Nazi but ya'll pushed it.

Actually, here is the thing...

The word is written as even-handed. You should use unbiased instead of non-biased in your sentence. Why evenhanded and then non-biased? Get it?

BTW, I think I did admit I was wrong.

I am off to a hockey game. Have a great night.

From "dictionary.com" (my source for all FI spelling issues):

evenhanded [ee-vuhn-han-did]

-adjective. impartial; equitable: evenhanded justice.

Take it up with them. Maybe Websters has a different viewpoint. Until a retraction is printed on dictionary.com I stand by my posts.

You did admit you were wrong. I was referring to the others that piled up on this silliness.

Sorry to all for hijacking this thread...

So....how about Avantair?

So there I was, at 10,000 ft., flying for Avantair.....

What was that about not posting and drinking?!

Posting and drinking is fine.

Drinking and posting however....beware!

As to the point of the CEO referring to the Avanti in the "light jet" category.

If I had a scooter that reached low to medium earth orbit for a crew of 8 and a payload of 80 tons I would compare myself to the space shuttle, not a Vespa.

It's not the method of propulsion, it's the performance that buyers pay for. Hell, I could put your shiny jets on a grey hound bus...but it wouldn't be the same as jet travel would it? Again, performance numbers matter, not what's pushing the air.

The man has a point. Well said.

Speaking for NJA, Uncle Warren doesn't subsidize us or any of his other companies. Each company must stand on it's own merit.

If this is true, why are there multiple companies mixed in with the same financials? Kinda makes it hard for me to see what is profitable and what is not. What all is covered on that report anyway?

I am no expert but I do know some experts and they all agree that they are unable to make any determination of what is profitable and what is not when it comes to those financials. The AAIR financials are about one company, its easier to see what is going on with them.

I hear that some laptop companies are adding the breathalyzer option to their computers. Blow more than an .08, and no boot-up for you.

Far less entertainment value here at FI!

Happy Holiday, glass
