I can say that I have a degree in rocket fuel design. I can say that I have walked on the freaking moon. I can say I have walked on Lake Lanier, won the Nobel Prize, and a couple of Grammys.

-I could pretend any and all these things were true, but I know they are not.

Timmy Martin from Eagle can say all this, it's even published in some magazine...........

Jerry and Brad just facebooked me saying that ASA is going to buy Delta and then merge them with Skywest and then Skywest is going to buy a post merger United/Continental and merge them with ASA and then ASA is going to sell Delta to Skywest and Skywest is going to sell UAL/CAL to ASA and then both DAL and UAL/CAL are going to break off and go independent making UAL/CAL the world's largest airline and Delta will be the 2nd largest and then Jake from the bachelor is going to cry about it. Look for an announcement by the end of the week. You heard it here first.
I thought it was the other way around, I must of had some bad intel...

I think ASA's Maintenance Dept. should buy someone too. And then the company store will buy Crew Outfitters.

I don't work for ASA but they are sure in a better position than Comair. I think ASA has a bright future or so it seems. I'm not a pilot, but from what I read, seems like ASA will continue to thrive.

This thread makes such little sense, I had to punch my own crotch to restore balance to the universe.

After I catch my breath, I'm planning on discussing politics with a hotel iron. We may even bathe together. I hope the cord reaches the tub.

Jesus H that was hilarious!!! First round is on me my friend, well played.

I had recurrent ground recently. SH had some intersting charts regarding the future of RJ's. Obviously the 50 seater's will shrink a good deal. There is growth in the 70/90 market. However, the largest growth in 2014 will be 100-125 seat aircraft.

Regarding scope with Delta, I'm not sure how that would work. Delta pilots want the flying whereas management would rather contract it out for a cheaper rate. Unless Delta management offers a nice pay raise to relieve scope, I don't know how this is possible.

SH did not rule out ASA buying a branded airline, such as AirTran, Alaska, Jetblue, or Virgin. I never thought that would even be a possibility. I guess with enough cash, anything is possible. Could you imagine merging with "AirTran"? Happy ASA pilots with p'd off AirTran pilots.

Sounds like ASA is really looking at the big picture and elected not to buy TSA/Compass/Mesaba/Pinnacle. I personally think they are ready to buy off Mesa assets. Who knows, maybe a bigger branded airline.

Thoughts?

Mr. IFLYASA what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Wow! That's so original! Did you just make that up?
