From what I hear the genius was fresh off probation. Even so, I don't believe ALPA can't save this one.

This thread is garbage.

Why do pilots take such delight in the misfortunes of other pilots? We don't know what happened and posts on flightinfo are usually dead wrong on this type of salacious story.

It is difficult to imagine a pilot randomly damaging other's property with no provocation. Usually pilots are pretty good folks who don't go out of their way to get into stupid trouble. I would hope we would lend the benefit of the doubt to a fellow professional pilot until we knew the facts.

If anyone is really all that interested and needs to stroke their ego through the misfortunes of others - find out what County this was in and order a copy of the Police Report.

Pilot or not, a guy runs through a parking lot, smashing windshields yelling "Metallica" then pulls a Field of Dreams and ends up with a James Brown at the County lock-up, it's more entertaining than the usual ASA banter on here...

I am having to remove personal information on every other post on this thread. I know it does not appear that anyone posted the names, or how to find the names, and that is only because I removed those posts. Please play by the rules. This means no posting of if it was the f/o or captain, pairing numbers, names etc. I think I have cleaned it up to a point that the thread can be reopened now.

I wish this thread was garbage, I would hope that my fellow pilots would know not to get drunk and damage property on an overnight. Yet, sadly, this is true directly from one of the other crewmembers that was there.

Hey, its not even winter in GRR yet.

Sorry to hear about your crewmember. Mistakes...

Was in GRR, a more senior person that sits mostly in the right seat took the flight to CVG, Was partying a little to much and yes you will find it on a police report. 2005 hire oct.

The wx in GRR has been pretty nice so far this fall. Wonder what's gonna happen when it turns to crap this winter like it always does.

So basically you guys want a huge raise yet have pilots getting arrested on overnights?? I do not believe this helps your case.

Maybe if like you they slept on the plane, they wouldnt have a chance to get in trouble.

HUGE RAISE?........ HUGE RAISE? What are they telling you people?

How about just more than .8%!

This guy is a joke. I have seen a lot of your post and I am starting to think that you do not even fly airplanes, I think that you are an a.net dork that hangs out here.

You mean like the huge raise they offered you guys? That free money you were jumping up and down on the 120 guys about? Cause it's all about you right?

It is better to be a schmuck and not type so noone knows than to type and let everyone know for sure you're a schmuck.

At least know what you're talking about first. You think SKW hasn't had something like this happen before?

Come on...4 pages and no details---does anyone have a brief synopsis of what happened...enquiring minds want to know...I just want to know what I shouldn't do the next time I'm in GRR and will use this as a guide.

Not off yet. Seems he missed the final meeting possible.

Huh? There's no requirement to "have a meeting" to get off probation. According to our contract, it's automatic at 12 months of active service.

Typical "guilty until proven innocent" approach. The Flightinfo jury has rendered a decision!

I miss the Cantina. Cheap Coors Light pitchers and always a few rounders to try the "I'm a pilot" line with. I feel for the old boy, but bid for the late shows.

I always liked "40 night". You got a 40 ouncer for 3 bucks. Everybody walking around playing pool with 40s. Hilarious. Actually, wasn't 40 night Monday? Didn't this happen Monday night? Hmmmmm...

FOM, managements rights.

And in some cases it can be longer if someone has had problems. History can repeat itself.
