We are all forgetting the most important commandment, the 11th....

Thous shalt not screw thyself.

And of course, let's not forget the 12th commandment....

In case of violation of the 11th commandment, thou shall not whine nor blame others, nor expect pity. Thous shall be entitled to redemption upon completion of proper penance, as long as there is no whining.

I think you made that up. Where on Earth would you find thoses stat's?

Harry:

Alcoholism exists in pilots at the same rate as in the general population of the US (population without an excessive number from a high incidence pool).

Bob

"...Dr. Davis told the group, "As in any other professional occupation, about 7 to 10 percent of airline pilots will develop the disease during their piloting career..." Dr. Hudson said that the relapse rate remains low for rehabilitated pilots. "From the beginning, our 24-month rate has been 10 to 15 percent, meaning 85 to 90 percent will have remained sober at the two-year mark. After the two-year mark, we see about a 10 percent relapse rate over the remainder of a pilot’s career." He added that the recovery rate is well above the rate of most programs in existence, except for some of the professional programs, such as the one for physicians, which is based on HIMS and is also at the 90 percent mark. "HIMS elements," he said "are the blueprint for successful recovery programs for professionals, nationwide..."
HIMS, Airline Pilot, April 2004

Well it looks like GRR's best kept secret (200 yds from the hotel) is now out in the open....

It's not a "best kept secret". It's a decent mexi restaurant with cheap beer. Nothing wrong with that. I got trashed there the other night and made it back to the hotel, except for that damn curb that jumped up and tripped me! Just behave when you're there, or anywhere else for that matter.

Voted To Strike ASA!

Well it's better than the usual "highlights" people seem to find fascinating w/ hotels..."There's a mall across the street & a TGI Friday's!" (Just a hint of sarcasm there)

Here are the facts!

I have his name and will follow up on his case because he screwed me personally more than I can describe on this web site. I will just say I had Major Surgery scheduled for the next day.

Morons like this guy need not be anywhere near the inside of a cockpit for the rest of his life.

Apparently, you returned to ATL only two hours after your original schedule ended... how did that affect anything you had scheduled the following day?
