Those of you that think ALPA should let the company give new hires 2nd year pay (and throw out perhaps their biggest incentive for the company to negotiate) are really smart. Please run for ALPA office so you can get in and solve all the problems.

Thanks,
Turbo

Thank you Brother Turbo! Can I get an Amen?

One of the big guys from the company talked with us about the contract. There was a wink and nod when he said available labor would drive many contracts in the future. ASA is fortunate to be on the front end of this with the contract. There isn't anymore growth out for regionals and that chunk of meat won't be tossed effectively in the future to keep costs low,

I fear Mesa and Republic will cave in on these issues in the attempt to keep perceived growth going.

hey ASA guys got a question for you? What are the upgrade mins at ASA? The reason I ask is that I am thinking of leaving my current Regional to go to ASA? I will be giving up about 6 months of seniority at my current airline. However with ASA hiring all of these really low time guys, I am wondering if a lot of them will not be able to upgrade when their number comes up because of their low times. Leaving a shorter upgrade for the guys who might have the flight time mins?? What are your thoughts? Thanks.

Probably a very fair supposition.

What are your thoughts? Thanks.

With a name of RiddleEagle, I'm sure we're all going to be thrilled to have you. Make sure your car has a Florida license plate with the ERAU insignia, an ERAU sticker in the window, and don't forget the ERAU flight bag sticker.

Seriously though...coming to ASA in hopes of chasing a quick upgrade...I say you deserve what you may find here.

I don't recommend this airline until the contract is settled. Too much uncertainty at ASA right now.

Yes, certainly bring all those things. However, you mustn't omit the impressive and highly regarded Riddle Ring.

I would recommend Skywest. Avoid the fire.

Word in the FA lounge is that the stews love having all this new Riddle meat on the overnights. The like Riddle pilots the best.

I'm flying with a new hire and he is making the same 19.02 an hour that we all made!!!!!!

And the flight team jacket. Most effective when worn with the big 80s Aviator sunglasses. In a bar. Chicks dig that. Really.

Who cares about newhire pay. They know the pay when they sign up for this gig. If they would say no, the pay would go up. Very simple.

There are just so very many ways for us to say this to management: Never; not in a million years; absolutely not; no way, Jose; no chance, Lance; niet; negatory; mm-mm; nuh-uh; oh-oh; and of course my own personal favorite of all time, man falling off of a cliff -- "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Thank you Dr. Cox!

Is it because all these young Riddle kids remind them so much of their grandsons back home?
