DING DING DING!

BL, SH and CT don't think that history can repeat itself from 1998. They do not think that the pilots have the will to do what is needed at this time to finish the contract. They laugh and joke about it.

After seeing the Company's a and b proposal .....My crystal ball say that the MNB will meet with both sides. Neither side is going to give and so the NMB will make a choice to offer and neither side will except the offer so it's time to move on with the process. I would advise you to get your house in order.

Bring it on baby!! Shut this joint DOWN!:angryfire

So much for four days of sessions. What a freakin waste of time this whole farce is. I would have more respect if they would come out and say 'we aren't giving you a new contract because we don't have to', while shooting us the bird!

Here's the basic P2P update. Both sides went to the NMB meeting this morning. Each side went in separately to present their case; Alpa on why we are at impasse and need a proffer and ASA on how we're almost there and just need a few more sessions to try and get it done. Then both sides were told to "go home, we'll be in touch.

That's a great sign! A release is coming (in a couple of months when the board responds).

UN-Fu^K!NG-BELIEVABLE!

If a release is coming (and I think it's close), then it will happen sooner rather than later. The NMB will want this thing resolved before the holiday travel season, and they still have to get the 30-day cooling off period out of the way. I think you'll get an answer from the NMB within a week or two.

I won't hold my breath, but I think you are probably correct.

6 weeks before the NMB says anything and it'll be for more dates 6 weeks after that. Guaranteed.

Yep! Nobody has thought maybe the NMB is siding with managements positions, and will not release us. I know we all don't agree with that, but who is to say it is not the case? Maybe they think managements proposals are perfectly reasonable! Watch for 2 more dates to be announced in mid-September --- for mid October, and more of the same to follow.

I don't think the NMB would schedule more dates if they didn't even finish this session. Good luck guys.
you've obviously NOT been paying attention to this saga. This isn't the first time they went home early. By the way, I spoke to a staffer in the SPC just a little while ago and they didn't mention anything about them going home.

I Love It!

I just love this crap! They timed this perfectly!! The NMB says "go pound sand" at the same moment that we lose our pass priviledges. If I were in charge around here I would be looking for some lotion-they are about to get it handed to them hot, high, and hard!

What I don't understand is if you negotiate for just 2 days of the 4 scheduled and the NMB says go home, why the hell does it take them a couple weeks to let everyone know what they have decided? It seems they know what their decision is already. Start the clock!

..........and how about a plan B, this is a joke!

Come on guys

Lets hear it for TEAM work guys. Come on you can enjoy the benifits of a new scheduling section. Who needs money? You have been doing just fine on what you have been making, right? Sorry about the pass benifits, wow what a kick in the pants! Bad timing on that one. Look, you commuters will only have to pay like $40 to come and go to work, but dont worry the raise that management is offering should just about cover it!
Why are you guys so hung up on scope if you are the lowest paid nobody would ever want to transfer airplanes! I'm tired of hearing that it's a threat to transfer airplanes, we like to refer to it as remaining competetive! Now go out there and enjoy your holiday weekend!

Thanks Scott, you always have a way of putting things in perspective. I was pretty pissed but damn if won't jump out and get catering now! GO TEAM

ASA pilots.....I think it is time you start questioning the negotiators on BOTH sides of the table.
I just read the companies version of an update. On it they talk about how good the new TA´d scheduling section is!! It would be great but for one word that they added that makes all the differences.
They state the long call short call notification time starts from 1st "ATTEMPTED" call to the pilot.
Since when did Attempted mean we were notified of anything. The current contract states notification as the first verbal communication between the scheduler adn the pilot.....NOT ATTEMPTED contact.
Little things like this are what need to be addressed!!

Read your contract again, it says no such thing about verbal contact. When scheduling leaves you a message, they have started the clock. That is how it is now, not just in the new contract.

WRONG!! It's in a settlement agreement. You need to read all those and the LOA's too. Very important!

If negotiations stopped 2 days early, then why would the mediator schedule "more dates"? They had more days, but chose not to use them.

If they decide to have more dates, then yes, the mediator is siding with management. Hands down.

If the mediator releases us, then he finally saw thru the smog and grew some balls.

I would have the biggest smile on my face if all flights were delayed on Saturday, and there out due to maintenance. I'm trying my best.

Where. Tell me where, and I'll look it up. I have a friend in scheduling, and I know for a fact they start the time when the message is left on your voicemail.

WHERE THE HELL IS THE INFO FROM THE UNION?!?!?

This all went down before noon, and it is 11 pm with no communication from our union leaders!
