Apparently we just signed a 2 year extention on 2 -400 that were to go away in FEB 2011. So another bid can't be far away to staff for the additional aircraft.

That is the rumor at QX also. All QX recalls back by summer and possibly hiring. There is a class of 20 recalls in the end of Oct. Hope it doesn't fizzle out...

Rumors/expectations of another bid this winter, but NOTHING concrete yet. The 24 will be back by the end of JAN11, meaning Training center can handle more in the spring.

I'm guessing a new Mexico route was approved.

ALL a guess on my part.

In it's current state...all the training department can currently handle is 6/month...but then again they did just ask for applicants for new check airmen.

Hopefully this turns out to be one of the true rumors.

I don't think anybody has resignied. All have found employment contracts or
Millitary.

You guys hearing any rumors at AS? At QX it has been very quiet and kind of creepy. They did announce 3 more college themed Q400 being painted not new a/c.

Does anyone know if the November class letters have been sent out and if so, how far down the senority list it is going?

Yes, the November letters have gone out, but I don't know how far they go. I do know that three guys who recieved a November letter are now in the October class. The October class went all the way to #12 to fill the six positions.

5 days groundschool, 2 FBS, 4 Sim's and 3 SLF's, 2 day Hawaii, 2 day Arctic and 2 day SE. Seems a little aggressive for having not flown in a year, but we will see.

I agree, it does sound aggressive. Seems to me like a couple more days of school and a couple more sim's would ease it up a bit..
