Believe it or not, it comes back pretty quick once you get in the sim....unless you were MD....but then you're a mess anyway....

No. Plus they are going to probably bid advance some guys from ANC to LAX starting in December.

In training the other day Co. guy told us it is 3 -400's, not the 2 - 400's I had reported with new lease extensions. So that should help our staffing cause even more.

That very well could be, but they still have not filed any 8-K's with the SEC indicating the fleet change. Here is the last 8-K with the fleet plan info:

It still show's 3 -400's going away in 2011.

I don't know, but they have now sent out letters for December 13th and January 3rd classes that go through #27 on the furlough list.

Cool! Thanks for the info, QCappy. It's good to see that someone finally came to their senses and decided to send out all the remaining letters pronto. I guess the trickle-in method wasn't working all that well for the 2nd floor?

No, I don't claim to know all of the answers. I get my info from our LEC whom I trust.
How many times have I heard this ridiculous comment: "why don't you volunteer for something?". Typical union dork response when they are cornered. I pay my dues (which is not really put into good use IMO); that's all I can do at the moment. Between a regular line, the military reserves, and taking care of my family, so yeah...... I'm too busy to help our fellow pilots. Walk a mile in my shoes before you open your cake hole!

There is no ability to bypass, yet. The gossip is that a side letter may come out. If you are not on a contract or military then you have no choice but to quit.

You couldn't do better than the LAX Capt Rep - But I bet RD wouldn't do it. The guy that mentioned an in house union has the right idea. ALPA is a $$$ sucking machine. Good luck to all of us!!!!

Under block Representation, what Seattle wants will 'b' the only result regardless of what any number of people in Anchorage do.
