APA INFORMATION HOTLINE
This is APA Communications Director Gregg Overman with the APA Information Hotline for Wednesday, Aug. 8.
APA MEMBERS REJECT TENTATIVE AGREEMENT: Shortly after voting ended at noon Central Daylight Time today, Ballot Point certified the following results in the tentative agreement vote: 2,935 pilots voted for the tentative agreement, and 4,600 pilots voted against the tentative agreement. Therefore, the tentative agreement is rejected.

SQUASH!

Big Mushroom Cloud over DFW... Is it coming from Centerport or Ft O'Connell?

This is not smart on behalf of AA pilots. To think management will come back with a better deal while creditors creep up their necks is futile thinking. What this pretty much does is leave the future of AA pilots in the hands of the BK court.

Ask United pilots about this.

You mean the very BK court that has no confidence whatsoever in Horton And Co?

Voting YES on this Turd would have earned our spot as the biggest sellouts since the B-scale 1982 deal! The TA was THE MOST CONCESSIONARY CONTRACT in Airline History. And the Co was using the Fear Factor to whack us into submission.

You watch - we will get everything in the "Last Best Offer" and probably more. The Co is terrified of implementing the 1113 due to the labor chaos that will ensue - which will prevent the New AA from rebuilding.

LEVERAGE - We used it to the max. Bravo AA Pilots! Fight's on.

I just worry that AA pilot have now put their careers in the hands of the BK courts which may end up helping AA management squeeze more out of the pilots.

Riddle me this... How many judges have imposed contract terms and vacated a cba to a pilot group?
