It MIGHT be time to send tham an email.

Last I heard from NJ was in Sept, a few days before my scheduled interview. At that time they expected to get back to me in Dec to reschedule and hopefully get to do the interview first part of 09. Really not holding my breath, I just hope that when things do pick up again I will still have a place in line!

Interviewed in June. Rec'd calls stating they would get back to me after the first of the year -- Jan. nothing so far. I take we are not going to be hired or we are in an unofficial pool. I am not holding my breath that I will get hired by NJA anytime in the near future or then again maybe when hiring picks up if ever.

I haven't heard a peep either, been in the unofficial pool since summer myself... but, i think it's safe to say, i don't need to email anyone to hear the obvious...no new-hire training classes anytime soon... good luck to everyone in the meantime.

Reason I asked, is because NetJets said they would call us once a month with a update.

And dont think there is a reason to keep calling people every month for updates knowing the kind of economy we are in right now. NJ may or may not lay off but for sure, hiring is out of the question right now...... Read the news DUDE, use your common sense!!!!!!!!!!

So when am I gonna upgrade???? I have been waiting almost a year now!!!

I agree that if NJA said they would call, they should call or at the very least, send an email. It may with a call/email with information on the obvious, but I still think it should be made.

Come on guys...everyone is acting like its their first job hunt. Stop waiting for someone to do the job for you.

For those of us that interviewed back in April, May, and June, I wonder if we are screwed now since it has been so long. Will they retain our info and call us at some point in the future, or will we have to re-apply again?

One can only hope...especially since I see this as one of the only possible options as a soon to be former starchecker. Not much out there when things are as they are....

Sim partner during upgrade just got hired in the Abu Dhabi side of things. Just got it all locked up with his ride on the Hawker. He put everything into motion very quickly about three months ago. Very good gig for a single dude if you ask me.

Seriously guys.

If you interviewed and haven't heard anything, send in a letter or email. TRUST ME, it will not hurt your chances of getting hired. (That would be illegal). The "Talent Aquisition Team" doesn't have anything else to do.

Think of it this way, your lack of communication can be interpreted as a lack of interest in NetJets.

If you want to fly for NetJets, if you have interviewed and haven't heard anything back, ASK.

Since the Talent Acquistion Team has very little to do I would think they would want to contact those candidates directly with an update. That would be the professional thing to do.

It would also provide an accurate accounting of who out there is still available.

I completely agree. In my opinion the Talent Aquisition Team has performed well below what I would expect from any department at NetJets.

Having said that, you know what happens if you do nothing? Nothing.

Understood. The Talent Acquisition Team has made their stance clear. Their communication has been embarrassing. It is up to you.

Talent Acquisition Team email

I was also scheduled to interview in September. Just got an email this month stating that “We are currently evaluating our pilot needs for 2009. Thanks for your continued interest in NetJets and we appreciate your patients during these difficult times.” With the economy the way it is I would consider myself lucky if I get rescheduled for an interview in early 2010.
