Jeeves,

I have an in house LOR but not a Silver Bullet. I have an interview on Friday...anything is possible. First thing to do is complete Airapps.com

To Floyd94 and anyone else who's been waiting a loooong time. Make absolutely sure that everything on your airlineapps application is in order. Sssh, don't tell anyone, but you might call one of the Assistant Chief pilots or maybe send a PM to F9recruiter (I hope he doesn't mind me saying this) and ask if there are any "Red Flags" on your application. Without that knowledge, it's like flying at night into a known area of thunderstorms without radar. You might be sitting at home with your hand on the phone, for no reason - in vain.
Also, send people requests for recommendations to be added to your application. As many as possible, but QUALITY over quantity.

Alright, step one complete. I made it to Denver. My brother lives 5 minutes from the G.O.. Easy enough. Step number two, impress the panel. Step three, get the all important call from Gary. ;-) I know, one step at a time. I sure wish the interview was Thursday. Oh well, one more day. I've waited years, what's a little longer?

Shrek,

I'll give it my all. I'm feeling pretty relaxed at the moment. I guess the mountain view will do that do a person. I'm sure the heart will be racing at the interview. ;-)

Hi guys,

Just got back from the interview. It was everything I expected. Great people and they really put us all at ease. Yes, i was still a little nervous.
Got a bit tongue tied at the end. Nonetheless, I think I got my message across. Oh, and the pizza was great. ;-) Super company and even better employees. I now know a few of the interviewers monitor or participate on this site. You know who you are...I won't blow your cover. Thanks for making me feel at home. Gary, thanks for the invite. Look's like anyone hired out of this interview will be in the May 8th class. Oh, there were 8 of us today...great folks.

I'll let you guys know when I hear something.

Now the hard part...waiting.

Stratus,

Good luck, Bud. I highly recommend you go out for a very long run or something. Do something that will tire you out completely. It's the only healthy way you're going to get any sleep tonight. You will inevitably not be able to focus on much else for the next little while. I've got my fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted.

Thanks! I just posted but it doesn't seem to be on the site. If you see two responses, that's the deal. Oh well, I will surely relax for the rest of the day. I just had a cool beer. I never drink at 3pm, but this day is special. :)

I'll let you all know the result.
