I'm just looking to see what my other TWA compatriots are up to. Find out who is where and how they are liking what they are doing!

Howdy, '99 TWA hire here who recently got on with F9, after 3 years of various "odd" jobs during my AMR induced vacation.

Lot's of us on here. Best place seems to be TWAPilots.com. There was a thread on there awhile ago about where everyone was and what they were doing now. Hundreds of responses last I saw.

Chris

Glad it worked out for you. There is nothing like living in base. I wouldn't know about that one.

Jeff

"E" do you have another screen name so I can actually post something to you without EVERY"F"INGONE knowing who I'm talking to? ;) TC

Great to hear

Great to hear what a few folks are up to. I also am a '99 hire. I was called up in my reserve unit right after Sep 11th and ended up still being activated for the first year of furlough. Then I trained to a new military airframe which kept me gainfully employed after my return to normal life. I finished that up and got hired at Flight Options. Been there a little over a year and a half and am ready to move on. I've got my app in for F9 with no rec. That'd be my first choice. Also got stuff going on at FedEx and JetBlue. I just hope something turns up before my Reserve unit is scheduled to shut down! All in all I've been pretty fortunate to have a steady check coming in from one source or another since the furlough and had my Reserve pay to supplement my Flight Options pay this last year and a half. I know everyone wasn't so fortunate. I've got a buddy who was a '90 or '91 hire that is out on his ear too. I don't know why TWAPilots.com hadn't crossed my mind as that is the obvious place to catch up with folks. Thanks again for the replies. It will be interesting to see what kind of stuff continues to pop up.

Wow!

I had no idea that I was so popular that everyone would know me.

If you need to tell me something you don't want others to know just call.

Howdy y'all. Another '99 hire here (wassup wit dat?).
Got hired into the pool at ACA but never started training. Good thing.
Flew J41 for Trans States. Escaped after nine months.
Been here at AWA for year and a half. Another merger, yuk. Otherwise it's a good job. Fying the Airbus makes me miss flying. After departing STL realized that no airline job is worth moving for so am now commuting MKE-PHX.

I think at least 5 ex-TWA guys are now flying 747s for a new startup called FOCUS Air. Don't know their names, however.

Worked Ramp for TWA

Damn nice to hear something from the Red @ White!!

Finishing my CFI's ....I know this is mostly for line guys..but I'll tell ya I've never worked with more professional, compitent, and caring guys than TWA, Your the only line pilots that did'nt make me feel like a pice of $hit when the day was over. DAm AMR

Paco is by no means a "Native". He belongs to Hitler's Youth.

And no, we did not save you - Don Carty screwed you with his "Size Ego."
