Great condensed version, but this portion had me rolling on the floor. Some of my classmates at the zoo were beaten severely by the ugly stick.

Wait ... I'd better retract all that. I dated one of my classmates for a while. Hey, Deuce130, that's not right! Female cadets are not only smart, they're beautiful (or I was waaaayyy horny, it don't matter).

Guilty of that as well. Nothing like "Falcon Love."

I went to jumpseat on airline 'x' one day, and the FO was a female from my class; she had been beaten pretty severely by the ugly stick. We got to talking, and she said she married fellow classmate xxxxxx, someone who looked like he was celibate not by choice but by birth, and showed me a picture of the two of them. I just hope that they don't reproduce; that'd be some mofo ugly kids.

I just watched the trailer. HTF can they say that Annapolis is the toughest military academy in the nation? That honor rests firmly with the US Coast Guard Academy. Anybody can be a part of the Department of Defense. Those boys in the Coast Guard are part of that exclusive squad, the Department of Homeland Security. That's the same Department that the elite members of the TSA falls under.

(For those in the Coast Guard offended by the above, it's meant as humor).

Can you imagine that line in the preview? "At the 7th toughest military academy in the nation...." Just dosen't have the same ring to it.

(Disclaimer... it's a random number, not poking fun at the mids and alums)

Well, there will be a "by the book" officer who wants him gone, an "understanding officer who sees the big picture" who helps him get through, unrealistically hard a** upperclassmen who want him gone, unrealistically hard a** upperclassmen who are secretly good guys underneath, a main character with ideals who questions them halfway through the movie, a WAY unrealistically hot female cadet who's the love interest, and a climax where they all realize they're on the same team! GO NAVY! My prediction: horrible movie.

No doubt there were also be a character who is perfect, strong and loyal, yet is fighting persecution from fellow cadets and the expectations of an overbearing father who doesn't know his son is gay.

Guess I'll have to keep waiting for Porky's III, The MILF years

Tailhook envy

Even if the AF pukes only watch 'Annapolis' when it is released on DVD, you can bet that the long-runway F-15 and F-16 drivers will all develop a severe case of tailhook envy after watching the sh*t-hot carrier scenes. They always wonder if they have the balls to do a night carrier landing.

Dave, when you go see this movie on opening night, can you post the actual storyline? It'd be funny to see who got it right.

Andy;

I'll probably pass on opening night and watch 'Stealth' on DVD. You have a good time.
