Yeah, I read that too. I meant is there talk of the agreement meaning more than what was reported in the news. Talks of hiring, training bubbles, etc. lead me to think that there is talk of the deal meaning more than just a noncash transaction involving a codeshare agreement and a seat on the board.
anyone know what's up with the marine life being painted on the 700 in the hangar? are they all getting different paint jobs?
I hardly post on here but I figure I'll write something for the local guys/girls trying to make it back home like me. The rumor about the class in june is true, i'm in it. I just got called from aloha on may 7 for a tentative class date on June 11. I interviewed in Dec 06 and got offerred the Jan class but had to postpone due to medical reasons with my wife.
But anyways i'm stoked and scared as S@#T at the same time LOL and after 11yrs of living in a blackhole called Louisiana i'm finally coming home where I belong. Hopefully I make it on property before any crazy stuff starts happening but the good thing this time around is that I was able to build up 1000hrs pic at Expressjet, I would not have had it if I left in Jan.
I asked them what all the stuff with United meant but she had no info just that they are going to be interviewing again but its the only ray of hope I needed to make the leap of faith.
If you see a broke ass FO in the Crew room and wonder why he's got a grin from ear to ear all the time its me, so buy me one plate lunch because i'm going to need my lunch money to catch the bus home to Waianae. Got to save some money for the upcoming furlough LOL at least i'll be in Hawaii this time around.
Aloha
